Chaitu is presently doing two films.. one in the direction of Kalyan Krishna and other film with the debut director Krishna. Apart from these two films, Chaitu said to have given green signal to a young Tamil director Karthik Naren for a bilingual. While director Karthick Naren is riding high on the success of Dhuruvangal 16, which has completed 50 days theatrical run till date, Chaitanya had a great 2016 with films like Premam’s Telugu remake and GVM’s Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo.
Karthik Naren is the happening filmmaker in Tamil cinema right now. After the terrific success of his crime thriller Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru, Karthick Naren has started works on his upcoming film titled Naragasooran. He has already finalized Aravind Swamy for a crucial role. He is planning to take two heroes from Telugu and Malayalam. So he has approached Naga Chaitanya. As Chaitu was so impressed with Dhuruvangal Pathinaru, he gave his nod to Karthik without thinking much. Although Chaitanya was seen in a cameo in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s 2010 romantic drama Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, this would be his first full-fledged role in Kollywood. Hope Chay has a great career ahead in Kollywood.
