Chiranjeevi made his television debut with the game show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu. However, with the show not matching up to expectations, the actor and the channel people have decided to take a long break before the second season. The first season of the series will be completed by this month and although they usually start shooting for the next season after six months, this time, both have decided to take their own time.
Chiru himself told his close ones that he wants to take break for some time as he want to take some time to make a schedule for his upcoming movie uyyalawada narsimha reddy. “Chiranjeevi wants to concentrate on his upcoming film Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy. He will start the next season after the film’s shoot is complete, so it may take nearly one year for the next season, which is a long break,” says a source. Some say that the long break may be because Chiranjeevi’s show was not as successful as Nagarjuna’s. Nagarjuna hosted game show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu was one of most successful shows in Telugu with good TRP ratings for each episode. Uyyalawada is being produced by Charan. Cherry initially planned to make the film on Rs. 80 crore budget.. but now it has been increased to Rs. 125 crore. Not only that, Cherry said to have asked director Surender Reddy not to compromise on anything. As Chiru 151 is a periodical film, it requires large scale visual effects. Meanwhile in this break, Chiru is gonna build some skills as he has to play a role of warrior in the movie.
