Indian monuments to appear on the new notes..??

As all of us have seen the image of the Mangalyaan on the 2000 rupee notes, to celebrate India’s Mars mission. This serves to depict the country’s first venture into interplanetary space. Speaking about the new 500 rupee note, which has the image of Red fort, as an Indian heritage site with our national falg.

In the same grounds the new 10, 50, 200 and 1000 rupee notes will have the print of historical monuments on them. The famous one stone engraved chariot called ‘ Eka shila ratham’ in Hampi at Karnataka, is being printed on the new 10 rupee notes. Surya Devalayam present in Konark is will be printed on the 50 rupee notes says the RBI.
