It was indeed a bad move and shows a ‘clear violation of international resolutions’ and that Jerusalem was ‘an inseparable part of Palestine’. Iran strongly condemned US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel on Wednesday, saying it threatened a ‘new intifada’, or uprising.

Iranian Foreign Ministry in an official statement on its website, claimed the statements made by US President are provocative and unwise. This kind of statements will provoke the Muslims and inflame a new intifada and leads to radical, angry and violent behavior.iran condemns us president’s decision on jerusalem

Iran has strong objections to this and condemns the move and urges the international community, influential countries, and especially Islamic countries to prevent the implementation of this US action, which is only the benefit to the Zionist regime, to preserve the stability of the region.

The Muslims and Arabs across the Middle East condemned the US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. They considered it as a provocative move in a volatile region and Palestinians claimed the US failed its role as a peace Mediator.

The protesters burned American and Israeli flags. Even UN rejects Trump’s Jerusalem declaration and calls for its Security Council meeting on Friday.
