J Y Pillay Appointed Singapore President: An Indian Decent was elected as Singapore President. 84 years J Y Pillay is an Indian Origin Civil Servant will work for a Temporary President. On September 23rd, Singapore President elections will be held. J Y Pillay will remain in that position until they became a new President. J Y Pillay took charges from Tony Tan Keng Yam, who completed 6 years of President.

After 1991 this is the first time Singapore President space has been empty. Actually, this is not the first time J Y Pillay taking responsibility for the temporary president. In 2007, Singapore 6th President S R Nathan visit Africa J Y Pillay remained President for nearly 16 days. On the month may, Tony Tan visit Europe J Y Pillay only replaced the President position.
