Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu Compared Hyderabad to an 18-year-old girl.  He said the whole world is eyeing on this Indian Pearl city. Hyderabad is also famous for its world famous Biryani. I must say it is the most charming and most happening city in the country, he said. Hence ‘it becomes our duty and responsibility of KTR, to look after it carefully and make it appear most beautiful,’ he commented at the diamond jubilee year celebrations of National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) at Shilpa Kala Vedika.

Naidu informed that there will be two steel plants that will be coming up in the Telugu States as the center is committed and responsible to fulfill the promises of AP Reorganization Act 2014. ‘While one of them would be in Bayyaram, the other one is going to be at Kadapa,’ he added.

According to the Vice President, Venkaiah, Ballot is more powerful than Bullet. Naxals should actually prefer ballot to achieve their goals.  He also quoted, Chhattisgarh tribal girl securing 99% marks in UPSC as an example, of tribal children creating wonders with proper education.

A shocking accident took place in the city of Vishakhapatnam. Three buses of the same educational institution have collided with each other. The incident took place on the Yarada Hill in the city. 200 students were reportedly present in the buses at the time of the accident. More than 30 – 40 students have been injured in the incident.

The students belonged to a private school in Vijayanagaram, a city 50km away from Vishakhapatnam. The school management organized a picnic trip for the school students on the scenic Yarada Hill. The accident took place while the students were returning back home.

‘Three buses were coming down the hill slope behind one another. After the brakes of the first bus failed, it reportedly hit a portion of the hill on its way down the slope. Immediately, the next bus collided with the first bus, and the third bus collided with the second bus in the span of seconds,’ said the local police who reached the accident place.

Parents of the students have reached the spot after they were informed. It is learnt that one student is critically injured. The students injured in the accident are currently receiving treatment in nearby hospitals. The police have registered the case, and are investigating the cause for the accident.

With a rising Military threat from North Korea, Japan is making all plans to purchase aggressive air to surface missiles. On Friday, the Japanese defense minister spoke about a move that is likely to stir debate over its decade’s long pacifist policy. Itsunori Onodera, the defense minister proposes to request a special budget for the fiscal year which starts from April 2018 to purchase long-range cruise missiles installed on fighter jets.

It also has plans to purchase joint Strike Missiles with a range of some 500 kilometers from Norway’s Kongsberg Defense and Aerospace, reports said.

Though there are high chances for controversy to come up, as Tokyo has always maintained an exclusively defense-oriented policy that bans the use of force as a means of settling international disagreements. But Mr. Onodera asserted his ministry will continue to uphold the policy. He told reporters, that they will introduce them only as a stand-off missiles that allow us to handle our enemies from outside the range of threats.

Japan so far has restricted its military policy, and it mainly depends on the US to attack any enemy territory under the Japan-US security coalition.

Though the US has always offered assurance to support Japan, recently during White House campaign Donald Trump had caused anxiety suggesting its allies like Japan need to do more to defend themselves.

First Phase of The Crucial Gujarat Assembly Polls

This time, for BJP it is nothing short of a prestigious issue as it has been in power for almost 22 years and as far as Congress is concerned, it is an acid or rather a decisive test. The polling began at 8 am and will continue until 5 pm in the evening.

Total turnout in the last 2 hours, has been only 11 percent during the polling on 89 seats of Saurashtra and South Gujarat regions in the first Phase of the crucial Gujarat Assembly polls.

Beating the cold weather, people had queued up to exercise their right to vote at the polling stations after 8 am.

There were reports of technical glitches in Electronic voting machines in Surat and few other centers, but soon the polling process resumed immediately after replacing the machines, officials at EC said.

Prominent candidates for Saturday’s battle included Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Congress leaders, Shaktisinh Gohil and Paresh Dhanani. BJP has pitted Virendrasingh Jadeja against Gohil, who is also trying his luck from Mandavi.

Cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara also cast his vote in Rajkot. The polling campaign has shaped up as a feud between Modi and Gandhi and often turned personal.

Meanwhile, security personnel has been deployed to maintain peace and sanctity during polling, and CCTV cameras have also been installed for effective monitoring and surveillance.

The second phase will be held on December 14 for 93 assembly constituencies while counting of the votes will be completed on December 18.

‘Mega family approached a senior actor that they are interested in purchasing his house. The Mega family gave the advance and occupied the house. When the senior actor questioned Mega family, they refused to vacate the house. The senior actor approached Paritala Ravi. But Pawan Kalyan was still adamant to vacate the house. In this context, Paritala Ravi taught a life-long lesson Pawan Kalyan’.

Interestingly, no one from Paritala family or Mega family ever responded to this.

Pawan Kalyan trashed the rumour and had finally put an end to it after it started 15 years ago. ‘It is not true that Paritala got my head shaved. If one can consider Centre’s strategy in depriving Andhra Pradesh its ‘Special Status’ as a masterstroke, it also created a situation where no party can even fight for ‘Special Status’. In the context of ‘Special Status,’ no party has been able to raise its voice against the Centre. The TDP and YSRCP have been busy alleging each other rather than fighting for the Special Status. The Centre managed to keep a check on Chandrababu by intimidating with ‘Vote for Note case’, and Jagan by threatening him with money laundering and corruption cases. Even Pawan Kalyan became silent after organizing a couple of public meetings.

But, from the last two days, in his 4-day tour of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan has been again vocal about ‘Special Status’ issue. It is also learned that the Janasena Party chief will make ‘Special Status’ as a focal point to stage a Padayatra very soon. In a recent meeting with Fathima Medical College students, Pawan said that ‘Andhra Pradesh would have got ‘Special Status’ if YSRCP and TDP at least fought like you [the students].’

Though Pawan Kalyan mentioned during 2014 elections that he wouldn’t take a step back to question TDP and BJP if he finds fault, he still cannot deny that he is also partially responsible after the Centre rejected the Special status to Andhra Pradesh. Police recently dug up the floor of the house of a woman in Mumbai and discovered she hide the skeleton inside a pit. Upon arrest, Sarita Bharti, a Mumbai swindler was interrogated and she supposedly confessed to having killed her husband and buried his body inside their house in Dandipada in Boisar.

Police finally found the skeleton in the house of the woman arrested in a sex racket case on Wednesday. The skeleton is suspected to be that of her husband, police stated.

Sarita Bharti, a 37-year-old woman was arrested for running a prostitution racket, allegedly told the police that she only killed her husband 13 years ago, based on the leads she gave, they dug the area in the house and discovered the skeletal remains inside the pit.

Later the skeleton has been sent to the forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is in progress and the woman is being probed further.

Police also stated that in the process of the raid, they rescued four women from Sarita Bharati’s house.

Man burnt alive in Rajasthan

Reportedly a man was beheaded with an axe and then burnt alive in Rajasthan on Wednesday. The accused was arrested by the police today evening after a video of the incident was posted online. The family of the victim demanded the public hanging of the accused.

The victim was identified as 50-year-old Afrazul. He along with his family migrated to Rajasthan 12 years ago. The wife of the victim said, ‘my husband was lured to the spot of the murder. The person who killed and burnt my husband posted the video of the killing on YouTube. He called my husband stating that he would offer a job.’

‘I spoke to my son in the morning before he was killed. I saw the video of the murder. I don’t know the reason behind this,’ said Afrazul’s father.

The police stated that the accused committed this murder in the context of the ‘Love Jihad’ slogan. Meanwhile Lok Sabha MP, Md Salim stated that ‘this proves how BJP has spread poison across the country.’

Hundreds of villagers reached the house of the victim from remote villages on Thursday after the news broke out.

Iran strongly condemned US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel on Wednesday, saying it threatened a ‘new intifada’, or uprising.

Iranian Foreign Ministry in an official statement on its website, claimed the statements made by US President are provocative and unwise. This kind of statements will provoke the Muslims and inflame a new intifada and leads to radical, angry and violent behavior.iran condemns us president’s decision on jerusalem

Iran has strong objections to this and condemns the move and urges the international community, influential countries, and especially Islamic countries to prevent the implementation of this US action, which is only the benefit to the Zionist regime, to preserve the stability of the region.

The Muslims and Arabs across the Middle East condemned the US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. They considered it as a provocative move in a volatile region and Palestinians claimed the US failed its role as a peace Mediator.

The protesters burned American and Israeli flags. Even UN rejects Trump’s Jerusalem declaration and calls for its Security Council meeting on Friday.

‘Times Person of the Year’ is an annual issue form the TIMES Magazine. It features the most influential person of the year as its issue cover. The person influence can either be ‘for good or for worse’.

The TIMES Magazine named MeToo hashtag women as this year’s ‘Times Person(s) of the Year’. The group features Taylor Swift, Ashley Judd, former Uber Engineer Susan Fowler, Adama Iwu and Isabel Pascual. The magazine has stated them as ‘The Silence Breakers’.

All these women have come out openly about sexual abuse they have faced at their workplace or during their profession. Most notably, Hollywood Producer Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexual abuses on many Hollywood actors and professionals Outside-Hollywood. Many women have already filed class-action lawsuits against the producer for the sexual harassment they have faced from him.

Meanwhile, Isabel Pascual is a pseudo-name for a woman hailing from Mexico who was stalked, sexually harassed and threatened if she speaks about the incidents. Similarly, Susan Fowler’s explosive blog post made headlines after she forced Uber’s CEO Travis Kalanick into resigning and 20 others ousted. Similar are the stories of Taylor Swift (pop singer) and Adama Iwu in their respective professional careers.

The scion of the Mysuru royal family Sri Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chama Raja Wadiyar was celebrating last night as his wife, Trishika Devi delivered a healthy baby boy late on Wednesday night at Cloud nine Hospital here in the city, becoming the 28th in the Wadiyar lineage.

The baby boy was healthy and weighed around 3kg at the time of birth and hospital sources confirm that both the mother and baby are doing fine. Mysuru Palace and the people of old Mysuru region that have strong links to the former royal family welcomed the new heir to the Wadiyar tree with quiet celebrations in the palace.

But the royal family has made requests to the hospital not to divulge details about the baby since they would be making an official statement on Thursday.

The 26th scion Srikantadatta Narsimharaja Wadiyar, who died in 2012 had no issue, Yaduveer Gopal Raj Urs, grandson of Mr. Wadiyar’s eldest sister Maharajakumari Gayathri Devi avaru and son of Tripura Sundari Devi and Swarup Anand Gopal Raj Urs, was officially adopted by Maharani Pramoda Devi Wadiyar in 2015. Subsequent to the adoption, he was renamed as Sri Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chama Raja Wadiyar. On 28th May 2015, Yaduveer was officially anointed as 27th Maharaja of the 600-year-old Wadiyar dynasty.

Last year Yaduveer got married to Trishikamuri daughter of Harshavardhan Singh and Rajkumari Maheshree Kumari of Rajkot royal family, on June 27.

Dana Mahji, from Orissa, made headlines after his pictures carrying his wife’s dead body went viral in August 2016. People from all around the world were moved seeing his pitiful condition. The made had carried the dead body of his wife, who died of Tuberculosis on his shoulder for over 10 km.

Post that incident, Mahji received Rs 10,000 from Red Cross Society within a week of the incident. But shockingly he also received a check of Rupees 9 Lakhs from the King of Bahrain. Various social organization and NGO’s came forward to financially support Mahji.

The local officials also helped Mahji by sanctioning him under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana’ scheme. The house is currently under construction. Mahji has deposited the funds he received as fixed-deposits in his daughters’ name.

He also got re-married recently. He is currently survived by his wife and three daughters. His daughters are studying in Residential High School, Bhuvaneshwar. He also owns a two-wheeler Honda Bike worth Rs. 65,000. He is practising agriculture in the little farm land he owns.
