Amidst huge expectations, the stylish star Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India got released this Friday in India and at the Overseas. Reports from the overseas ticket window are not in favor of the makers.

Allu Arjun took enough time to sign his next after Duvvada Jagannadham. Convinced by Vakkantham Vamsi’s narration, he gave this star writer a chance to become a director. Right from the first look at the theatrical trailer, authenticity and buzz did great help to attract movie lovers to the theatres. But the first-day talk ended up stamping this flick as average despite Bunny’s stunning hard work. According to the film analysts, the film fell flat for weak plot line coming from the writer of blockbusters. However, Allu Arjun managed to get second highest collections in the domestic market. The flick collected 16+ crores from the two Telugu States and stood in the second place only after Duvvada Jagannatham which raked in 18.5 crores.

If we look at the overseas, Bunny maintained his distance with the NRI audience. Having poor Overseas market and bad promotions in the US limited this flick to just $ 200,000 from its premiers. Forget crossing the records of Bharat Ane Nenu and Rangasthalam, crossing one million dollars would be a Baahubalian task for this project. Coming after two blockbuster is certainly a disadvantage for this flick as comparisons play their part. Also, it will be hard for some overseas audience to spend more on another flick after watching two blockbusters more than once. One has to wait until the end of Sunday to say this flick’s future run.
