After Devil, director Abhishek Nama is back with Nagabandham—The Secret Treasure, a mythological adventure film with a grand pan-India vision. Featuring Virat Karrna in the lead role, the film dives into the mystical world of ancient Indian temples, hidden treasures, and spiritual secrets.
In a major production move, the team has erected a lavish ₹10 crore temple set at Rama Naidu Studios, Nanakramguda, Hyderabad. This massive structure is designed by National Award-winning art director Thota Tharani, who is celebrated for his iconic recreation of the Madurai Meenakshi Temple in Mahesh Babu’s Arjun.
The visually stunning set will serve as the backdrop for a grand song sequence and several pivotal scenes, aiming to elevate the mythical essence of the film. The scale and detail of the set have already become a talking point in industry circles.
Produced by Kishore Annapureddy under NIK Studios, in association with Abhishek Pictures, Nagabandham stars Nabha Natesh and Iswarya Menon as the female leads. The supporting cast includes seasoned actors Jagapathi Babu, Jayaprakash, and Murali Sharma. The film’s music is being composed by Abhe.
Drawing inspiration from the legendary Padmanabhaswamy and Puri Jagannath temples, Nagabandham revolves around the sacred Nagabandham ritual and explores themes of devotion, heritage, and mysticism. It promises to deliver a visually rich and culturally rooted cinematic experience when it hits screens later this year.
