Google is expanding it’s existing ‘get image descriptions’ feature and introducing additional functionality for PDFs. Image descriptions are currently available in multiple languages.

Additionally, Google is introducing a ‘reading mode’ tool to the Chrome browser, which enables easier reading for students by adjusting text size, font, and removing distractions. The reading mode and images-to-text features will be gradually rolled out in the coming months.

Professor Agrawal the head of IIT Kanpur’s (IIT-K) advanced C3iHub stated that the system would conduct self-analysis and suggest the specific information that the police need to gather in order to trace the perpetrators behind the crime. The tools developed will also aid the police in constructing solid cases against the arrested criminals.

Telangana police, known for their well-equipped infrastructure and trained personnel, will be the first to employ these tools, which will be regularly updated to anticipate cybercriminals utilizing new techniques and technologies. Subsequently, the technology will be shared with other states. C3iHub focuses on establishing a cybersecurity ecosystem for the government, continuously monitoring security vulnerabilities in critical sectors, and developing tools to address them at different levels of system architecture. Additionally, the hub conducts cybersecurity audits for the government and provides a real-time security operation control mechanism that offers insights into cyberattacks on servers, malware flow, and other relevant information.

According to Felix Kreuk, a Research Engineer at Meta AI research, MusicGen is a single-stage transformerLM built upon the EnCodec audio tokenizer. It eliminates the need for multiple models by utilizing efficient token interleaving patterns.

MusicGen was trained on a dataset comprising 20,000 hours of music, including 10,000 licensed tracks and 390,000 instrument-only tracks sourced from ShutterStock and Pond5 stock media libraries.

While Meta’s MusicGen is a recent addition to the AI-powered music generation space, it is worth noting that Google had previously released its own tool called MusicLM. Google’s MusicLM, which can generate high-fidelity music across various genres based on text descriptions, was introduced in January and made available to the public in May.

The hackers employ social engineering tactics by impersonating journalists from well-known media outlets like Cointelegraph and Decrypt, conducting fake interviews with victims. They then trick victims into performing a KYC validation, leading them to websites used to steal Discord authentication tokens.

By intercepting two-factor authentication codes or stealing Discord tokens, the hackers can gain control of accounts without needing the users’ credentials or access to two-factor authentication codes. The attackers then become administrators of the accounts, removing other administrators and allowing them to steal digital assets and sensitive information without interruption.

In a separate incident, the Atomic Wallet, a mobile and desktop crypto wallet, suffered a security breach resulting in the loss of over $35 million in cryptocurrency assets since June 2, according to on-chain investigator ZachXBT.
