Elon Musk-run Tesla delivered a record 4,22,875 electric vehicles in the first quarter of 2023, beating Wall Street estimates.

In the first quarter, the electric carmaker produced over 4,40,000 vehicles.

“We continued to transition towards a more even regional mix of vehicle builds, including Model S/X vehicles in transit to EMEA and APAC,” it said in a statement.

In the fourth quarter of 2022, Tesla delivered 4,05,278 and produced 4,39,701 units.

According to reports, a large percentage of deliveries came from vehicles produced in the Shanghai gigafactory.

Tesla will post its financial results for the first quarter of 2023 after the market close on April 19.

Tesla has adjusted the pricing for its electric vehicle in the US several times in the recent past.

The company has drastically lowered the prices of EVs across its lineup in the US and Europe, in an effort to boost sales as its stock plummeted more than 60 percent earlier this year.

The least expensive EV, the Model 3 RWD, has dropped from $46,990 to $43,990.

Moreover, the Model Y Long Range’s price decreased 20 percent from $65,990 to $52,990.

Musk had hinted that more price increases may be on the way as Tesla adjusts to the demand created by the massive price cuts.

In the global passenger electric vehicle (EV) market, Tesla’s Model Y remains the best-selling model globally followed by China-based BYD’s Song model.

Moreover, this feature can be especially helpful for queries that only need one response as the poll will be more relevant.

Some WhatsApp beta testers have already received this functionality for Android and iOS.
The ability to disable multiple answers within polls is currently available for some beta testers that install the latest WhatsApp beta for Windows update available on the Microsoft Store, and is expected to roll out to more users over the coming days, the report said.

Meanwhile, last month, it was reported that the messaging platform was rolling out a new “multi-selection” feature for messages on Windows beta.

Moreover, if the users tap the indicator, it will automatically re-center itself on the pin.

Meanwhile, last week, the tech giant was rolling out the “Immersive View” feature more widely in Maps.

The Immersive View feature, which was sold as a “whole new way to explore” with Google Maps, augments the existing photorealistic aerial views of popular locations and landmarks with time and weather contextual flyovers of the specific mapped regions.

Google Maps Immersive View combines scenic views of a city and its landmarks with suggestions of places to learn about or visit, as well as views of the interiors of some buildings.

Google starts testing generative AI features in Gmail, Docc

After announcing the upcoming generative artificial intelligence (AI) features to Workspace apps two weeks ago, Google has now started public testing them in Gmail and Docs.

The current trusted test program includes consumer, enterprise and education users (over 18 years) in the US, reports 9To5Google.

This “small group” is invited by the tech giant to join and they must sign up and opt in.

The testers can also leave the program at any time. Users in the program can use generative AI in Gmail to draft everything from a birthday invitation to a job cover letter.
