Two professors from Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology (GRIET), an autonomous college under JNTU, Hyderabad, have been recognized among the top 2% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University, USA, and the publisher Elsevier.

The prestigious list, which highlights research excellence in two categories—career-long research and research in 2023—includes Dr. Swadesh Kumar Singh, Professor and Dean of Research & Development, and Dr. Ram Subbiah, Professor of Mechanical Engineering at GRIET. This is the second year in a row that these professors have been honored for their outstanding research work, according to a press release.

The global list includes the world’s top researchers and is based on key factors like citations, h-index, and other bibliometric measures.

The management at GRIET congratulated the professors for their impressive achievements, which not only boosted their careers but also enhanced the institution’s reputation.
