Among all three the iPhone 11R is said to be the cheapest one launching this year. It will succeed the existing “affordable” iPhone XR. Rumours and leaks suggest that the to-be-launched iPhone 11R will come with a starting price of around Rs 53,000 approx. Looks like Apple is now readying a “low-cost” iPhone that the company is hoping to launch in 2020. It is the iPhone SE successor.
The report comes from Nikkei Asian Review. Sources close to the website have confirmed that the coming of low-cost iPhone SE successor. Apple launched the iPhone SE back in 2016. Since then several rumors suggested that Apple will bring the successor to the iPhone SE but the Cupertino major turned down all rumors. But it now looks like Apple is finally preparing to bring the iPhone SE successor next year.
The report says that Apple is yet to decide the name of the iPhone SE successor. Past rumors suggested that the iPhone SE successor will be called iPhone SE2. With the iPhone SE successor, Apple will hope to gain back its lost market share. Apple has faced a decline in iPhone shipments for three consecutive quarters now. The iPhone SE successor is also expected to help Apple gain momentum in emerging markets like where consumers are price-conscious.
The report further reveals about the iPhone SE successor. It reveals that the iPhone SE successor will come with a 4.7-inch LCD display. The iPhone SE successor is said to come with A13 processor that will also power all three iPhones of this year. The low-cost iPhone may not sport Face ID but it may come with Touch ID. Apple is yet to confirm details of iPhone SE successor.
On September 10 Apple will launch the iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11R. Notably, the names of the upcoming iPhones are yet to confirmed by Apple. Ahead of the launch almost everything about the iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11R is revealed by rumours and leaks. The starting price of the iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11R is also leaked before the launch.
Leaks suggest iPhone 11R price will start at $749 that roughly translates to Rs 53,800. The price of iPhone 11 is expected to start at $999 that roughly translates to Rs 71,700 while the price of iPhone 11 Pro will go up to $1099 that roughly translates to Rs 78,900.
