Rana proves by every film himself as a versatile actor. He maintains his body structure as suitable as a character. We know that he is playing Nara Chandra Babu Naidu role in NTR biopic. So, he becomes attenuated for this role. He lost his muscles, weight and complete transformations have done for this role now. Recently, he said about his character and efforts for that.
He said, “Ballala Deva is an imaginary role. There are no restrictions on that character, physically. But, Chandra Babu Naidu is here in front of our eyes. So, I lost my weight, muscles and changed a lot for this character. I’m trying to portray him at my level best. In some days, my schedule will be completed.” By asking about his upcoming films, “1945 and Hathi Mera Saathi movies have shot in Kerala. But, because of floods, there is no chance to shoot. So, just wait for the situation to continue to shoot. In the direction of Guna Sekhar a movie “Hiranya Kasyapa” is on the process of the script working. It will come onto sets in next year,” he answered.

He presents Kancharapalem movie on Suresh Productions banner. So, he shows interest to promote that film. Many directors also acclaimed it. But, some are giving allegations on bad words used in the movie. For that, Rana clarified, “In our daily life, many people express their frustration in different ways and they use bad words also. As like that, the characters in C/O Kancharapalem movie also use bad words as per the conditions. If we see it according to the scene situation, we don’t feel bad about it. I like some scenes are so natural that’s why I selected it to present. Fortunately, we take up this film after completion. If we produce it, it doesn’t as much as natural. With sets and well-known actors, the originality may miss in the film. Director Venkatesh Maha made it sincerely and it will be gotten success.”
