In a press conference on Tuesday, BJP state secretary M Raghunandan Rao raised a pertinent question regarding the Congress government’s apparent reluctance to take action against senior IAS officers facing allegations of irregularities during the previous regime. Rao pointed out that despite serious accusations leveled against these officers, the Congress government has yet to initiate any actions against them.
The BJP leader criticized Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and other senior Congress leaders, accusing them of making strong statements against these IAS officers when they were in opposition. Now, however, when the time has come to address the allegations, there seems to be a notable silence from the ruling party.
Raghunandan Rao’s statements underscore the political dynamics surrounding accountability and governance, with the BJP pressing for transparency and action against officials implicated in alleged irregularities during the previous administration.
