‘AP Prathyeka Hodha Sadhana Samithi’ President Chalasani Srinivas condemned hero Superstar Mahesh Babu and the entire film industry. Speaking in a press meet, Chalasani said, ‘even the Telangana leaders are extending their support for AP Special Category Status. But the Telugu Film Industry is behaving as if it is not where related to the state.

Very soon we will give a final ultimatum to the TFI. Though Superstar Mahesh Babu did not take part in the fight for AP SCS, actor Sampoornesh Babu, who is from Telangana took part’.

He also spoke why the permission for his rally from Chittoor to Bengaluru was rejected. ‘Owing to the election code for the upcoming assembly elections in Karnataka, our request for ‘Chittoor – Bengaluru March’ has been declined.

This will not stop us. We will continue to fight against the Centre for the AP SCS. In June, with students from all over the state, the Chittoor – Bengaluru March will be organized’, concluded Chalasani Srinivas.
