Criminal handed 4 death sentences

The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in its ruling handed 4 death sentences to a criminal, who is involved in kidnapping, raping and killing a 7-year-old girl. This is the first time such a ruling is ever heard in the history of Pakistan. The 23-year-old Imran Ali has been slapped a fine of Rs 32 lakhs, along with 4 death sentences. The death sentences have been issued for kidnapping, sexual assault, homicide and terrorism. The case of a 7-year-old girl, Zainab shook entire Pakistan.
Zainab (7) is a resident of Kasoor in Pakistan. She was found missing on January 7th. The family of the girl has immediately lodged a police complaint. After 5 days, i.e. on January 12th, the corpse was found in a dump yard. The Pak media termed the case of Zainab as ‘Pak Nirbhaya case’. During the case’s investigation, and hearing, nationwide protests have been carried out, asking the court to pass on the death sentence to the criminal.
The criminal, Imran Ali was arrested on January 23rd, thanks to the police search. Upon hearing 52 witnesses, the judge came out with his verdict. Amid tight security, the Judge has finally given his verdict today morning. The ruling has been welcomed by everyone in Pakistan.
