Daggubati Venkatesh’s Passion for Action-Oriented Roles:
Venkatesh, a seasoned actor known for his versatile performances, has captivated audiences with his realistic portrayal in movies like ‘Narappa’ and his impeccable comic timing in ‘F2.’ Now, he’s venturing into the action genre with his upcoming film ‘Saindhav.’ A source reveals, “Venkatesh has had a long-standing fascination with action roles, relishing the opportunity to wield guns and flex his muscles, which he’s finally getting now.” The actor has a penchant for watching anger-driven movies in various languages, and despite possessing a well-maintained physique and endurance, he had largely been associated with comedy and self-pitying roles.
Venky took some time to break away from his image as a lover boy and family man. Although he demonstrated his ability to excel in intense roles with films like ‘Ganesh’ and ‘Gharshana,’ he found himself repeatedly cast in wholesome entertainers such as ‘Malleswari’ and ‘Aduvari Matalaku Arthaley Veruley,’ both of which became blockbusters, compelling him to continue in that vein.
Following the massive success of ‘F2,’ where his character Venky Asanas became immensely popular among audiences, he reprised the role in ‘F3,’ though it didn’t replicate the same financial success. With younger heroes also exploring family dramas akin to his, Venkatesh desired to break free from the mold and revisit his brooding, intense persona to delight his fans once more. Having recently showcased his darker side in the web series ‘Rana Naidu,’ Venkatesh is evidently ready to embrace diverse roles. The question remains: Will filmmakers take notice?
