“The iconic ‘movie tree’ at Kumaradeva’s Godarod has fallen. This nearly 150-year-old tree was a popular filming location for hundreds of movies. The news has left many celebrities and fans from the film industry expressing their sorrow over its fall. Director Vamsi, who shot many of his films under this tree, became emotional upon hearing the news.
He shared, ‘Along with many others, I have shot many movies under this tree at Kumaradeva Godarodu. Knowing that this tree has fallen, I feel as if I’ve lost my own mother. I will never see my mother again in this life.’ Director Vamsi plans to make a video about the tree and share some heartfelt memories.”
