Hyderabad Student Family seeks Sushma Swaraj’s help

Mohammed Akbar, a 30-year-old, doing his masters in computer sciences, was injured when a bullet hit his right cheek on December 6. His family has now put requests to both the Telangana government and also MEA, to make all arrangements for an emergency visa to permit them to visit the US.

The student is from Hyderabad, presently studying in Chicago was shot on his cheek as he was walking towards his car in the parking lot.

Speaking to the media, the elder brother, Mohammed Shafi told that his brother was walking towards his car, and suddenly a stranger approached and shot him without any reason. He said he is requesting both the state and central government to take it as an important case. He also told that he had also contacted the EAM for an emergency visa to visit his injured brother.

At present, the student is undergoing the treatment at a hospital in the US. The elder brother said, he is waiting for a positive reply from External affairs ministry, while the victim’s father appealed the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide safety to children living outside India for study or Job reasons.
