Nagarjuna on the 1000 Crore Club: “Records Are Temporary, I Don’t Chase Numbers”

Nagarjuna on the ‘1000 Cr Club’: “Records Are Temporary, I Don’t Chase Numbers Anymore”

In an industry obsessed with box-office numbers, veteran actor Nagarjuna has taken a grounded stance. At a time when filmmakers and stars are fixated on entering the 1000-crore club, Nagarjuna says he’s no longer interested in chasing records.

“Records Are Temporary, and I’ve Seen Them Come and Go.”

In a recent interview, when asked if he felt the pressure to join the ranks of stars with 1000 Cr or 1500 Cr blockbusters, Nagarjuna responded:

“I never got stuck in these numbers. These numbers are temporary. It is 1000 now, and two years later it will be 2000. If you look at my earlier films, I had so many records. Every film’s record was broken. So, it doesn’t matter after a while.”

Nagarjuna added that chasing numbers no longer drives him, and he is now more inclined toward experimenting with unique and impactful roles.

What’s Next for Nagarjuna: Kuberaa & Coolie

After his impressive cameo in Brahmastra, Nagarjuna says it opened doors for him to explore powerful, unconventional roles.

In 2024, he’s coming back strong with two major releases:

  •  Kuberaa (June 20): Directed by Sekhar Kammula, co-starring Dhanush, where Nagarjuna plays a powerful character central to the plot.

  •  Coolie (August 14): Starring opposite superstar Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna takes on a villainous role that already has fans buzzing.

Both roles are said to showcase the actor in never-before-seen avatars, and fans are hoping this will mark a massive comeback year for the seasoned star.

Samantha Didn’t Remove Her “YMC” Tattoo—Viral Rumors Busted

A few days ago, social media and several media outlets were abuzz with reports claiming that Samantha Ruth Prabhu had removed the “YMC” tattoo from her upper back. The tattoo, which stands for Ye Maaya Chesave—her debut Telugu film and the one that marked the beginning of her relationship with ex-husband Naga Chaitanya—has been a sentimental piece of body art for years.

The Viral Photoshoot Sparked the Rumor

Speculation began when Samantha’s “YMC” tattoo was not visible in a recent photoshoot, leading fans and media to assume she had removed it for good. Several entertainment portals and social media handles quickly reported the alleged removal, interpreting it as a symbolic closure of her past relationship.

However, in a recent paparazzi sighting outside a gym in Mumbai, Samantha was spotted in a sleeveless outfit, and the tattoo was visible on her upper back. This disproves the removal claims and suggests that the tattoo was simply covered with makeup for the shoot.

Rumor Ends Here: The Tattoo Still Exists

The viral assumption now appears to be unfounded. Samantha has neither addressed nor confirmed any tattoo removal, reinforcing the idea that the disappearance in the photoshoot was purely cosmetic.

Career & Personal Life Update

On the work front, Samantha recently appeared in a cameo role in Shubham, which also marked her debut as a producer. She is also gearing up for her international web series Citadel: Honey Bunny alongside Varun Dhawan.

Meanwhile, on the personal front, there’s speculation that Samantha is dating filmmaker Raj Nidimoru of The Family Man fame. However, neither party has confirmed nor denied these rumors, keeping fans curious.

Nagarjuna Says His Role in Brahmastra Was the Most Impactful | Kuberaa & Coolie Update

0

“I Had the Most Impactful Role in Brahmastra”: Nagarjuna on Choosing Powerful Characters Over Leads

Veteran star Nagarjuna Akkineni is grabbing headlines again—not just for his upcoming film Kuberaa, but for his candid take on why he prefers impactful roles over lead characters. As promotions for Kuberaa pick up pace, Nagarjuna opened up about his acting philosophy and the projects that redefined his journey in recent years.

Nagarjuna on Brahmastra: “It Changed My Path”

In a recent interview, Nagarjuna reflected on his career-long habit of choosing substantial roles, even if they weren’t the central leads. Recalling his part as Anish Shetty in Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, he said:

“Though my role was brief in screen time, it had the most emotional impact. I genuinely feel mine was the most impactful role in the film.”

Despite Brahmastra facing criticism for its writing and ensemble size, Nagarjuna’s portrayal of the Nandi Astra wielder stood out, earning praise from fans and critics alike.

From Zakhm to Kuberaa: A Career Rooted in Substance

Nagarjuna pointed out that his unconventional choices go way back, from supporting Amitabh Bachchan in Khuda Gawah to taking on a pivotal role in Zakhm.

“Right after films like Shiva and Geethanjali, I took roles that had soul, even if they weren’t the hero roles. That’s always been my guiding principle.”

His latest film, Kuberaa, directed by Shekhar Kammula, stars Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna and is set for a pan-India release on June 20. Nagarjuna shared his excitement:

“When Shekhar came to me, I instantly liked the soul of the story. I could sense the emotional weight my character carried.”

Villainous Turn in Coolie with Rajinikanth?

In a surprising reveal, Nagarjuna spoke about being approached by Lokesh Kanagaraj for the upcoming Rajinikanth starrer Coolie:

“Lokesh said, ‘It’s an antagonist role. If you’re uncomfortable, we’ll just have coffee and drop it.’ I said, ‘No need for coffee—just narrate the script. If it’s strong, I’m doing it.’”

This bold acceptance of diverse characters—hero, anti-hero, or otherwise—cements Nagarjuna’s fearless evolution as an actor willing to challenge himself.

Nagarjuna To Play Akhil’s Father in Lenin? Fans Buzzing Over Akkineni Pairing

The Akkineni family is stirring excitement in Tollywood circles again—this time with the possibility of a long-awaited on-screen father-son collaboration. If the strong buzz from Filmnagar holds, Nagarjuna and Akhil Akkineni are all set to share screen space as father and son in the upcoming film Lenin.

Directed by Murali Kishore Abbur, Lenin stars Akhil in the lead role, with Sreeleela playing the female lead. The project is jointly produced by Nagarjuna and Naga Vamsi, adding more weight to the speculation that Nagarjuna will appear in a powerful key role, possibly as Akhil’s father.

Though Akhil previously appeared with his father in cameo-style roles in Manam and Akhil, Lenin could mark the first full-fledged performance together, reflecting their real-life bond on-screen.

The film’s music is being composed by Thaman, and shooting will resume soon in Tirupati, with a November 2025 release being targeted. Akhil, fresh off his recent wedding, is expected to join the team for this upcoming schedule.

While an official confirmation is still pending, the anticipation among Akkineni fans is reaching new heights. If it materializes, Lenin could become a landmark moment in Tollywood’s family collaborations.

Allu Arjun & Sandeep Reddy Vanga: A Dream Collaboration Still on Hold?

In what could have been one of the most exciting actor-director collaborations in Indian cinema, Allu Arjun and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s project remains stuck in limbo. Officially announced a couple of years ago, the film was expected to go on floors after Allu Arjun wrapped up Pushpa: The Rise. But as things stand, it hasn’t taken off—at least not yet.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who redefined intense storytelling with Arjun Reddy and the box-office juggernaut Animal, is currently engrossed in Spirit with Prabhas. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun has been occupied with his Pushpa sequel and other planned commitments.

Initially, the project showed great promise. Fans were ecstatic at the idea of Vanga’s emotionally raw direction meeting Allu Arjun’s dynamic screen presence. However, conflicting schedules kept pushing it out of reach.

Sources close to both camps indicate that mutual interest still exists, and this isn’t a scrapped project—just a delayed one. As of now, there’s no clarity on when it might materialize, but insiders suggest the two are keen on making it happen in the future.

For fans hoping to see Allu Arjun in an intense, layered role under Vanga’s vision, patience is the name of the game. When it does happen, though, it could be nothing short of explosive cinema.

Shooting is scheduled to begin later this month, and fans are already buzzing about the first look and how Vijay Sethupathi will adapt to Puri’s commercial cinema style. If the title Biksham Dehi holds, it could mark one of the most experimental entries in both the director’s and actor’s filmographies.

Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara: No Heroines or Songs? Fans Await a Packed Comeback

Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara: No Songs or Heroine? A Bold Attempt to Pack Theatres Again

Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to return with Vishwambhara, one of the most anticipated Telugu films of 2025. Directed by Vashishta, who earlier impressed audiences with Bimbisara, this movie carries heavy expectations, especially after Chiru’s previous outing, Bhola Shankar, failed to make an impact.

What makes Vishwambhara especially intriguing is the bold creative choice—early buzz suggests the film will have minimal commercial elements like songs or a traditional heroine track, a stark contrast to Chiranjeevi’s usual masala entertainers. While Ashika Ranganath and Trisha Krishnan are part of the cast, the focus is expected to remain on a powerful story rather than romance or dance sequences.

The teaser and initial songs released have already sparked curiosity with their grand visuals and intense tone. The film aims to revive Chiranjeevi’s box office dominance, and fans are hopeful for a strong comeback.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is not slowing down. While Vishwambhara is still under production, he has lined up two more major projects:

  • One with Anil Ravipudi, known for hits like F2 and Bhagwant Kesari, promises an energetic commercial entertainer.

  • Another with Srikanth Odela, the director of 2023’s critically acclaimed Dasara. Srikanth, who was earlier an associate of Sukumar, is expected to bring a raw and intense story to the big screen.

With these three diverse films lined up, Chiranjeevi is aiming to reinvent his legacy and prove he still holds unmatched mass appeal.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu Reveals Her New Success Mantra: “Freedom Over Fame”

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has never been one to play by the rules—and now, she’s proving that success doesn’t always come from the silver screen. In a candid new interview, the actress opened up about what drives her today, revealing a deeply personal and powerful mantra:

“Freedom is success. Not being trapped, having the space to grow and do things that bring me joy—that’s what matters.”

Beyond the Box Office: Samantha’s Expanding Empire

Samantha’s journey in recent years has seen a major shift from being just an actress to a multi-faceted entrepreneur and creative powerhouse:

  • Saaki World—her clothing brand, promoting body positivity and style.

  • Secret Alchemist—a wellness startup she has invested in, focusing on mindful living.

  • Nourish You—a superfood label promoting health-conscious choices.

  • Tralala Moving Pictures—her film production house, launched in 2025, to tell stories that matter.

  • Tweave—A handloom initiative started with the Telangana Government in 2017, supporting local artisans.

Despite not having a theatrical release in the last two years, Samantha insists she feels more fulfilled than ever. Her brief appearance in the film Shubham marked her first foray into producing, and that experience, she says, sparked a new creative fire.

Back to the Camera—But on Her Terms

Samantha isn’t walking away from acting. She’s set to begin shooting for her next film, Maa Inti Bangaram, later this month. She’s also confirmed that more projects are lined up, both as an actress and a producer.

But there’s no big comeback drama here. Samantha is choosing freedom over frenzy, making decisions based on joy rather than pressure.

In a sudden change of plans, the much-awaited meeting between the Telugu film industry and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has been postponed to June 15. Initially scheduled for June 22, the meeting was rescheduled due to Deputy CM and actor Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming international film schedule for Ustaad Bhagat Singh.

 Key Meeting Details:

  • Date: June 15, 2025

  • Time: 4:00 PM

  • Venue: Amaravati

 Who Will Attend?

Top actors, directors, producers, and key representatives from the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC) will be part of the discussion. The meeting aims to bridge gaps between the government and the entertainment sector, which has been facing serious financial and operational challenges, especially post-pandemic.

 What’s on the agenda?

The discussion will focus on

  • Theater owners’ demand for a percentage-based revenue-sharing model instead of the traditional fixed-rental model

  • Support and subsidies for struggling single-screen theatres

  • Resolving issues related to monopoly control within the industry

Pawan Kalyan Visits Sangareddy for Son Mark Shankar’s School Admission

Power Star and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan, is currently balancing his time between politics and cinema. Despite his hectic schedule, the star carved out time for an important personal matter—his younger son’s education.

Surprise Visit to Sangareddy for School Admission

On June 14, Pawan Kalyan made a quiet visit to the International School of Hyderabad, located in the ICRISAT campus of Sangareddy district, Telangana. The reason? He came to arrange admission for his younger son, Mark Shankar, into the prestigious international institution.

Incident in Singapore Prompted Move to Hyderabad

Previously, Mark Shankar was studying in Singapore, but a fire incident at his school left him injured. Following that, Pawan decided to have his son continue his education in Hyderabad. With the new academic year approaching, he reportedly chose the International School of Hyderabad, where several children of film and political celebrities are already enrolled.

 Tight Security & Low-Key Visit

In true star fashion, Pawan Kalyan’s visit was kept under tight wraps. The school and police authorities coordinated to ensure security and maintain privacy, barring media presence. Only a few school staff members and residents got a glimpse of the popular actor-politician.

Despite being involved in the ongoing shoot for “Hari Hara Veera Mallu” and preparing for his role in “OG”, Pawan prioritized his family, once again showing his grounded nature.

Veteran actor and mass hero Nandamuri Balakrishna continues to prove that age is just a number. Even in his 60s, Balayya is setting the screen on fire with powerful mass entertainers, earning blockbuster box office success and the admiration of fans across generations.

Balayya’s Reign Continues—Box Office & Padma Bhushan Glory

With back-to-back hits and Rs. 50+ crore collections per film, Balakrishna’s recent streak includes four consecutive films crossing the Rs. 100 crore mark, reaffirming his box office dominance. Adding to his glory, he was recently conferred the Padma Bhushan, one of India’s highest civilian honors.

Fans were treated to a special birthday gift recently with the first glimpse of Akhanda 2—the much-awaited sequel to the Boyapati Srinu-directed blockbuster Akhanda.

Samyuktha Menon’s Gesture Wins Hearts at Balayya’s Eluru Event

Alongside his movie career, Balayya has been active in politics and public appearances. Recently, he attended a grand jewelry showroom opening in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh. Joining him was actress Samyuktha Menon, who shared the stage during the event.

What took everyone by surprise—and warmed the hearts of fans—was Samyuktha Menon touching Balakrishna’s feet as a mark of respect.  Netizens React: “Our Balayya Is Gold!”

Hari Hara Veera Mallu Gets New Release Date – Will It Finally Arrive on July 18?

0

Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Is July 18 the Final Release Date or Another Delay?

The long-delayed Pawan Kalyan-starrer Hari Hara Veera Mallu has been stuck in a never-ending loop of missed dates and uncertain timelines. Initially helmed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film has now found a possible release window—July 18th. But fans have heard this before.

A Project That’s Changed Hands and Deadlines

From its announcement, Hari Hara Veera Mallu promised an epic period drama. However, budget constraints and delays plagued the project early on. In a strategic move to salvage it, Jyothi Krishna, son of producer A.M. Ratnam, took over direction duties to help steer the film toward completion.

Even the most loyal fans have grown skeptical. The last postponement—reportedly due to incomplete CGI and VFX work—added to the frustration. While the new date is being circulated widely, there’s still no official confirmation from the makers.

 The Story: Telangana’s Robin Hood?

The film is reportedly inspired by Pandha Sayanna, a legendary outlaw often referred to as Telangana’s own Robin Hood. Set during the Mughal era, the plot focuses on Sayanna’s resistance, wealth redistribution, and rebellion—an ideal platform for Pawan Kalyan’s screen persona.

With Nidhi Agarwal as the female lead and grand visuals promised, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is being made in two parts, with Part 1 said to be nearing completion.

 Will This Date Stick?

Despite a fresh wave of buzz and cautious optimism, fans are holding back on excitement. The film has earned a reputation as a “ghost premiere”—always rumored, never real.

If July 18 truly marks the day Hari Hara Veera Mallu hits theaters, it’ll be a much-needed win for both the makers and Pawan Kalyan’s cinematic journey amid his new political responsibilities.

Pawan Kalyan Races to Wrap Films Post Deputy CM Role – But Is Quality at Risk?

0

Pawan Kalyan Fast-Tracking His Film Commitments, But Concerns Remain

After being sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan seems to be on a mission—not just politically, but cinematically too. The Power Star has hit the ground running, aggressively moving to wrap up all his long-pending film projects in record time. But while fans are thrilled, some concerns are being raised about the pace versus the quality of these productions.

A Rapid-Fire Schedule: Multiple Projects, One Goal

Pawan Kalyan has resumed work on multiple films simultaneously:

  • Hari Hara Veera Mallu— After enduring multiple delays, the film’s final schedule is now underway. The makers are eyeing a July release.

  • OG (They Call Him OG) – Directed by Sujeeth, this action-packed project is gearing up for a September release.

  • Ustaad Bhagat Singh—The collaboration with Harish Shankar is also progressing steadily, with promotions expected to begin soon.

This rapid progression indicates that Kalyan is determined to fulfill his cinematic obligations swiftly, possibly due to his growing responsibilities in public office.

 Concerns Over Quality Control

While Pawan’s work ethic and dedication are commendable, industry insiders and fans alike are raising questions about the depth of involvement he can provide across these projects. Can creative quality be maintained when films are being shot back-to-back in such a short span?

With the post-production processes often determining a film’s finesse, there is skepticism about whether these films will match the high standards fans expect from a Pawan Kalyan project.

Nagarjuna in Kuberaa: “Sekhar Told Me Don’t Walk Like a Hero” | Grounded Action Drama

0

Kuberaa: Nagarjuna Shares Real Moments From Sekhar Kammula’s Intense, Grounded Thriller

Director Sekhar Kammula is set to break away from his signature soft narratives with the upcoming socio-political action thriller Kuberaa, starring Dhanush and Nagarjuna Akkineni. Scheduled for release on June 20, the film is currently deep in its final promotional phase—and from what we’ve heard, it’s going to be a compelling, gritty ride.

Nagarjuna on Kuberaa: “This Film Hits Hard”

In a recent interaction, Nagarjuna opened up about the intensity and realism of Kuberaa, calling it one of the most powerful stories he has ever worked on.

“We keep hearing about massive scams—₹10,000 crore, ₹15,000 crore. But those figures feel abstract to a common man,” said Nagarjuna. “Sekhar told me real stories behind these numbers, and it shocked me. Kuberaa sheds light on that very disconnect.”

The film presents a layered societal narrative, highlighting the struggles between the rich, middle class, and poor, and according to Nagarjuna, Sekhar has built this world with stunning detail and authenticity.

“Don’t Walk Like a Hero”: Sekhar’s Commitment to Realism

Recounting a humorous yet telling behind-the-scenes moment, Nagarjuna shared:

“In one scene, Sekhar told me, ‘You’re walking like a hero. Please tone it down.’ I told him, ‘That’s just how I walk!’ He then asked me to slightly hunch my shoulders. It’s these subtle directions that make the performance feel real.”

This anecdote reflects Sekhar’s dedication to grounded storytelling, stripping away cinematic glamor for raw, believable performances. Nagarjuna also revealed the one thing he told Sekhar before filming began:

“You have to live up to my expectations.”

 What To Expect From Kuberaa

With Dhanush and Nagarjuna leading the cast, Kuberaa is expected to blend social realism with gripping drama and action—a shift from Sekhar Kammula’s usual genre. Backed by powerful themes and real-world relevance, the film aims to strike a chord with today’s more informed and aware audiences.

As the ‘Akhanda 2’ teaser shatters records with over 24 million views in a single day, fans are buzzing about more than just the movie. One surprising topic that’s gone viral? Balayya’s unconventional diet plan.

No Rules, No Restrictions—Just Balance

Unlike many celebrities who follow strict diet routines and curated meals, Balakrishna keeps things incredibly simple. Insiders say he doesn’t follow any strict food plan at all.

“He eats what he likes,” a source revealed. “If a role demands it, he’ll make minor tweaks, but nothing extreme.”

Even on sets, Balakrishna avoids special treatment. He eats the same food as the crew, showing how grounded and low-maintenance he truly is. No nutritionist-backed regimen. No exotic meal prep. Just a love for his work and a practical lifestyle.

The Real Energy Source: Passion & Purpose

From his debut in Tatamma Kala (1974) to his current run as a successful MLA from Hindupur, Balayya hasn’t slowed down one bit. Whether it’s lighting up the screen in mass blockbusters, diving into politics, or hosting the hit talk show Unstoppable, he brings the same fire to everything he does.

This consistency, fans believe, is the true secret to his youthful energy. It’s not just what he eats—it’s how fully he lives. Balakrishna proves that simplicity, passion, and dedication can often beat fancy diets and expensive routines.

Tragedy Strikes ‘Kantara’ Again: Mimicry Artist Viju Passes Away Near Agumbe

Another tragedy has struck the unit of Kantara: Chapter 1, leaving the film’s cast and crew in mourning. Following the earlier death of a junior artist last month, a second untimely demise has now been reported from the film’s sets.

According to reports, Viju, a mimicry artist from Kerala who was associated with the production of Kantara: Chapter 1, passed away from a suspected heart attack on Wednesday night. He was staying near Agumbe in the Shivamogga district, Karnataka, along with the Kantara team. After experiencing severe chest pain, Viju was reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead by doctors.

Not the First Tragedy

While fans and well-wishers have expressed concern and sorrow over these repeated tragedies, Hombale Films, the production house behind the project, has not released an official statement confirming Viju’s involvement in the film or addressing the latest incident.

Pawan Kalyan Visits Patancheru Campus for Son’s School Admission

Actor-politician and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is juggling multiple responsibilities—from film shoots to key administrative duties. Amid his packed schedule, he recently made a personal visit that caught public attention.

Pawan was spotted at the International Crop Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) campus in Patancheru, Hyderabad. The reason? He was there to discuss school admission for his younger son, Mark Shankar Pawanovich, at the international school located on the ICRISAT campus.

Mark Shankar had been studying in Singapore until last year but reportedly had to return to India following a fire accident. Now, the actor has decided to continue his son’s education in Hyderabad. Pawan was seen accompanied by family members during the campus visit, and admission formalities were reportedly under discussion.

Meanwhile, Pawan is actively working on his next film, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, under the direction of Harish Shankar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Despite his political and film commitments, the star continues to prioritize family whenever possible.

Ramya Krishna Played Daughter, Sister, and Wife of This One Legendary Actor!

Ramya Krishna Played the Daughter, Sister, and Wife of This One Iconic Actor – Can You Guess Who?

Ramya Krishna, one of the most versatile actresses in South Indian cinema, has enjoyed a stellar career spanning decades. From leading lady roles to powerful character portrayals, she has worked with almost every top star across the Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam film industries. With hits like Baahubali, Narasimha, and Padayappa, Ramya Krishna carved a niche for herself as a lady superstar. But here’s a fascinating piece of trivia: she has played the daughter, sister, and wife of the same actor in different films.

That actor is none other than the veteran artist Nassar, one of Indian cinema’s most respected character actors.

Let’s rewind through cinema history:

  • In the Rajinikanth-starrer Narasimha (Padayappa in Tamil), Ramya Krishna delivered a powerhouse performance as Neelambari, while Nassar played her elder brother.

  • In the Tamil film Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven (a remake of the Telugu hit Attarintiki Daredi), Nassar appeared as Ramya Krishna’s father.

  • And in Baahubali, Ramya Krishna and Nassar played the royal couple—Sivagami and Bijjaladeva, portraying husband and wife.

From playing his daughter to wife and sister, Ramya Krishna has had a unique cinematic connection with Nassar—something rarely seen in Indian cinema.

Even today, Ramya Krishna continues to shine in strong supporting roles in Telugu and Tamil films, portraying mothers, matriarchs, and occasionally, grey-shaded characters with equal finesse.
