The Amberpet police have registered a case against a constable for allegedly killing his wife here on Friday. The police are looking out for the accused who has gone absconding. Abdul Rashid had got married to Naushid Begum (23) in 2013 and the couple has two kids. It is learned that Rashid used to quarrel with her wife suspecting her fidelity. On Friday, the accused picked up an argument with his wife and attacked her with a sickle, in a fit of rage. Naushid succumbed severe injuries on the spot. Meanwhile, the house owner noticed the victim lying in a pool of blood and informed the police who rushed to the spot and examined the place.
