Hyderabad: YCP MLA’s son arrested for assaulting cops at Madhapur

Madhapur police remanded Venkatakrishna Prasad, son of YCP MLA Udayabhanu, for attacking and abusing Hyderabad traffic police.
Madhapur traffic police station constable Krishna was on duty at Khanamet near Meenakshi Sky lounge at 9 pm on July 29. The constable stopped vehicles coming from the side of Hightex Kaman.
Constable Krishna prevented Venkatakrishna’s vehicle for going ahead against violations.
MLA’s son jumps out of the car started abusing police constable Krishna.
The traffic sI Rajagopal Reddy arrived there to take him to the police station.
Venkata Krishna outraged and kicked the SI with the leg. The police filed a case under Sections 332, 353 and 506 on the complaint of a traffic inspector.
The accused was produced before a 12th AMM court judge on Tuesday night and sentenced to 14 days remand. Venkata Krishna Prasad has taken to Charlapalli Jail.
