In Mexico, a gunman kills an Indian national and injures another
In Mexico City, an Indian citizen was fatally shot, and another was wounded during a robbery carried out by unidentified assailants. Authorities have called on their Mexican counterparts to swiftly apprehend the individuals responsibly.
This incident occurred on Saturday, when the attackers robbed the Indian national of $10,000. The identity of the perpetrators remains unknown. According to a report in the El Universal newspaper, the victim had engaged in financial transactions in the vicinity of the Mexico City International Airport.
Tragically, the Indian national succumbed to the gunshot wound, while the other individual involved sustained minor injuries and received immediate medical attention on-site, as per the report. The Indian Embassy has expressed condolences for the incident and stated that they are in contact with the deceased person’s family, offering full assistance and support.
