The G20 meet begins in Srinagar
According to the Union tourism secretary, Arvind Singh, a significant number of G20 delegates have registered for the three-day working group meeting in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, despite some countries being unable to attend due to logistical reasons. The largest delegation is being sent by Singapore.
The G20 coordinator, Harsh Vardhan Shringla, mentioned that over 118 meetings have been completed thus far. The majority of the delegates will be accommodated at Taj Vivanta and Lalit Grand Palace in Srinagar.
Prior to the meeting, artists from Jammu and Kashmir will perform for the delegates. The meeting’s agenda includes various tourism-related topics with the aim of promoting and rejuvenating the culture, heritage, and tourism of Jammu and Kashmir.
