legendary actor Devdas Kanakala is no more

Famous actor, director and acting teacher Devdas Kanaka has passed away. Kanakala hospitalized from a few days at KIMS hospital turned to a film director from drama direction.
He is the father of actors Rajeev Kanakala and Sri Laxmi, and the father-in-law of TV anchor Suma Kanakala.
He studied at Pune film industry acted in 100 plus films. He worked as a lecturer at the Andhra Pradesh Repertory and the Madhu Film Institute, led by AR Krishna at Adyar Film Institute (Madras).
Currently, Devdas Kanakala has set up a training institute named the Film and Television Institute of Andhra Pradesh and is producing many talented actors.
Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Rajendra Prasad, Shubhalekha Sudhakar, Najar, Pradeep Shakti, Bhanuchander, Arunpandian, Ramki, Raghuvaran all the actors trained by him.
