Allu Arjun, who turned 40 on Friday, has reportedly celebrated his birthday in Belgrade, Serbia.

The ‘Julayi’ actor, who is still basking in the success of ‘Pushpa’, apparently flew 50 of his closest friends to Belgrade in Serbia and brought in his birthday along with them.

Pictures from their party bash have taken over social media, as the fans are excited to see Allu Arjun enjoying his birthday to the core. In one of the pictures from Allu Arjun’s birthday bash, he is seen having a great time, as his wife Sneha is spotted as well.

Allu Arjun’s fans, on the other hand, had in fact started 100 days ahead of his birthday, where they had organized food distribution, and contributed to orphanages and old age homes.

On his birthday, some of Allu Arjun’s fans also planted saplings taking up the cause.

‘Oh My Dog’ teaser unveils a magical tale about a kid and his pet

The makers of the upcoming Tamil movie ‘Oh My Dog’ unveiled an interesting teaser on Friday.

As seen in the teaser, the film revolves around a young kid (played by Arnav Vijay) and his pet pup Simba, showcasing lots of cute and fun moments of this unique friendship.

With a heartwarming narrative, the teaser establishes the story well by introducing the main roles in the upcoming movie. Expected to attract children of all ages, the movie depicts the unconditional bond between a human and a dog.

Written-directed by Sarov Shanmugam, the film features young debutante Arnav Vijay, Arun Vijay, Vijay Kumar, Mahima Nambiar, and Vinay Rai in pivotal roles.

‘Oh, My Dog’ is produced by Jyotika-Suriya, co-produced by Rajsekar Karpoorasundarapandian and S.R. Ramesh Babu of RB Talkies under the banner 2D Entertainment.

Director Prashanth Neel, who has been busy with the ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ release, has clarified a few things related to ‘Salaar’, ending multiple rumors around the movie’s story.

A lot of rumors about ‘Salaar’ being the continuation of the ‘KGF’ franchise are making rounds on the Internet. Also, there are other stories run by some websites that ‘Salaar’ is a remake of Prashant Neel’s directorial debut ‘Ugramm’, which is a Kannada movie.

Trashing all the rumors about Prabhas’s much-anticipated upcoming movie ‘Salaar’, the director stated, “All of the films that I make will have some shades of Ugramm. That’s my style! But Salazar is a fresh story. It’s not a remake or adaptation of Ugramm.”

This clarifies that ‘Salaar’ is an original story and doesn’t belong to any other franchise. Prabhas will be seen in a dynamic role in ‘Salaar’, while Sruthi Haasan will play the female lead. It is reported that 30 percent of shooting for ‘Salaar’ has been wrapped up already.

‘KGF 2’ producers to request AP govt for ticket price hike

With only a few days left over for the grand release of ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, the producers seem to be a bit worried about the ticket prices in the two Telugu states.

As the Yash-starrer doesn’t fall under the category of a regional movie in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the producers are not quite sure about the ticket prices.

The producers of ‘KGF 2’ are trying to have talks with the AP government for a ticket price hike and have quoted that their film justifies the government’s condition for a hike as it is a pan-India film and higher than the Rs 100 crore budget.

However, there is no clarity if the AP government applies the budget quote for a Kannada movie, yet.

On the other hand, the team is not yet sure about ticket prices or hikes in Telangana as well.

‘KGF 2’ is a pan-India Kannada movie, which is made on a massive budget. Looking at the buzz and craze around the ‘KGF franchise, the distributors have bought the film for record amounts, sources suggest.

So, to make reasonable profits in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the team needs to check on the current ticket prices in both the Telugu states.

On the occasion of World Health Day, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu organized financial help to save the lives of more than 30 children.

Mahesh Babu, besides delivering super hit movies, is also known for his generosity and philanthropy. Everyone is aware of the star’s help, as he sponsors heart surgeries for suffering children.

Recently, the ‘Murari’ actor sponsored 30 children, who underwent heart surgeries and interventions, with the help of doctors at Andhra Hospitals, Vijayawada, and Mahesh Babu Foundation.

Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar Ghattamaneni took to her Instagram and thanked Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, the governor of Andhra Pradesh, for facilitating the event and lending his support as well.

Namrata’s Instagram post reads, “On the occasion of World Health Day today, 30 children underwent heart surgeries and interventions. The event was felicitated by hon’ble @governorap Sri Biswa Bhusan Harichandan garu.”

“Thank you team @andhrahospitals for your commitment to medical excellence and quality healthcare”, Namrata mentioned.

Namrata also shared a few pics, of the children who underwent the surgeries with the help of Mahesh’s financial support.

Pankhuri says she premised her character Kaju from Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s character in the 1999 film ‘Taal’

The actress shares: “The title track of the show is very beautiful, and ‘Taal’ is the best in itself. When it comes to dancing to this song in the show, the first person who comes to mind is the renowned Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai. Because no one could have envisioned this song better than her.”

“Especially when during my recent photo shoot for the show ‘Gud Se Meetha Ishq’ I was shown a picture of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as a reference on how to pose in my Pahari look. So it’s not a stretch to say that I drew inspiration for Kaju from her. I hope that my character will be adored by the audience and that people will continue to love my character,” she adds.

The show, which is produced by Film Farm India, will soon transmit viewers to a new love story. Whereas actress Pankhuri Awasthi will be seen in the role of Kaju, a hill tourist guide, Ishaan Dhawan will be seen as photographer Neil Khurana, and Meera Deosthale will play a special character in which she will be seen as a mentally challenged person.

‘Gud Se Meetha Ishq’ will start on April 18 on Star Bharat.
