Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are to appear on ‘Bigg Boss Telugu 5’ as guests on the grand finale.

The grand finale is only a few days away, with five finalists fighting to win the title for the season.

Hosted by Nagarjuna, the ‘Bigg Boss Telugu 5′ finale will be on a grand scale.

As Nagarjuna has acquired the rights for Deepika and Ranveer Singh-starrer ’83’ in Telugu, he seems to have invited the couple to promote their movie on the show, which would also become an advantage for the grand finale of ‘Bigg Boss Telugu 5’.

Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt are also to appear on the show, to promote their upcoming movie ‘RRR’. With four bigwigs attending the grand finale, the makers of ‘Bigg Boss Telugu 5’ seem to have taken care to make the event even bigger.

The grand finale is slated for December 19. VJ Sunny, Manas, Sreerama Chandra, Siri Hanmanth, and Shanmukh are the finalists of ‘Bigg Boss Telugu 5’.

Rashmika Mandanna on ‘Pushpa’: Allu Arjun monitored each shot

Rashmika Mandanna has spoken about her upcoming movie ‘Pushpa’ and her leading man Allu Arjun’s dedication for each shot of the film.

As ‘Pushpa’ is all set for its release in a couple of days, she Rashmika has been busy promoting Sukumar’s directorial.

In a conversation with in interview, Rashmika shared her experience.

Starring beside Allu Arjun in ‘Pushpa’, Rashmika thinks Sukumar is one of the most talented directors she has worked with. “‘Pushpa’ is a raw, rustic movie, which requires detailing minute things, which Sukumar is famous for. I was amused when I got this offer,” she said.

Talking about how she was roped in for the movie, Rashmika said, “The makers of ‘Pushpa’ wanted an actress who would also be familiar with the Chittoor accent. So, I had given three look tests before we shook hands for the movie.”

As Rashmika spoke about her experience as an actress, Rashmika stated that she had to unlearn many things for this role, as director Sukumar wanted to bring an organic appeal to it.

“We actors never got to learn our dialogues beforehand, as we had to go unprepared. Under Sukku sir’s direction, he keeps everything organic. We walked into the sets, where we are given our dialogues. We had to pick up the scenario on the spot,” explained the ‘Dear Comrade’ actress.

The actress mentioned that it was quite difficult for her to shoot for the ‘Saami Saami’ song. “We shot it in a remote area and we worked really hard on it. Allu Arjun would monitor each shot after it was done, and he gives the best suggestions,” she said.

The songs, trailer, and posters for ‘Pushpa’ have been received well as she said, “I love the way people have responded to them.”

Rashmika said that despite living out of a suitcase, she has been enjoying her life.

‘KBC 13’: Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan to appear on season finale

‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 13’ has now reached the season finale as the episode will be aired on December 17, featuring cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan.

So, to make this finale week special, each episode is being graced by some special celebrities. ‘Pushpa’ star Allu Arjun clears the air on ruckus at movie event

Fans of Tollywood actor Allu Arjun protested against the cancellation of the actor’s photo session with them at an event and created a ruckus following which Arjun apologised to them.

Things escalated as Allu Arjun’s fans started to create ruckus after the show organisers stopped them from meeting Allu Arjun.

Allu Arjun, who came to know about the incident, took to his social media handles to apologise to his fans.

He acknowledged the unfortunate incident which took place after the pre-release event of ‘Pushpa’, assuring his fans that he would be careful hereafter.

“I got to know about the unfortunate incident of my fans getting injured at a fan meet event today. My team is personally monitoring the situation and keeping me updated.”

“Henceforth, I will take a lot of care to ensure that such incidents don’t happen again. Your love and admiration is my biggest asset and I am never going to take them for granted,” the ‘Pushpa’ actor’s note reads.

Organisers claimed to have taken permission for 200 people, but admitted around 2,000. They had also told the fans that they would get to participate in a photo session.

Due to unexpected circumstances, the photo session was cancelled, which triggered the incident.

Irked by the organisers’ negligence, fans raised slogans and tried to barge into the venue, which caused some damage to the convention centre here.

A case has been filed against the event organisers, while the police took over the situation.

The latest promo of ‘Bigg Boss 15’ shows Karan Kundraa and Tejasswi Prakash getting into an ugly fight. It seems as if their relationship is going through a rough patch.

Initially Tejasswi was talking to Umar Riaz and how she saved him from nomination. She asked Rashami why she never saved her and Rashami says that she often saved Karan but the issue was created when Rashami said that Tejasswi is feeling insecure as she is saving Karan.

But Tejasswi denied the fact saying she will be rather happy if Karan is saved. This leads to the fight between them.

Later, wild card contestant Rashami Desai tells Karan that his girlfriend Tejasswi has some problem with her and she is being insecure and it is difficult for Rashami to handle it.

Karan replies to Rashami, saying: “I don’t appreciate what she said.” Later on the dining table both Tejasswi and Rashami have a heated conversation. Tejasswi gets furious at Rashami as she continues to talk. This infuriates Tejasswi and she shouts at her. Karan intervenes and asks Tejassi to stay calm.

On this, Tejasswi replies: “The more you ask me to calm down, the more I will shout.”

Karan walks away from Tejasswi as she shouts at him and asks her if she has any manners to talk to him. “There is some proper way to talk and I am not here to listen to all this useless talk” as he throws a glass in anger, adding: “Is it a way to talk to me?”

Tejasswi is seen wiping her tears and leaves the kitchen.

Nothing serious about Samantha’s health condition, team clarifies

After Samantha Ruth Prabhu was rumoured to have developed a severe viral infection, her manager has clarified that it is nothing but a slight cough.

Earlier on Monday, the actress had visited a private hospital, which triggered gossip on her health condition.

The news created wide speculation among the public and her fans got worried about Samantha’s health condition. To clear the air, an official statement from Samantha’s manager has been released.

The statement denies any seriousness, brushing off rumours about her health. The ‘Oh Baby’ actress had a slight cough, for which she visited a private hospital. As a precautionary action, Samantha also underwent a Covid test which was only done to rule out any possible infection.

“Actress @Samanthaprabhu2 is healthy. She is taking rest at her home after undergoing a test at AIG Hospital due to a slight cough yesterday. Do not believe any rumours or social media gossips,” Samantha’s manager told the media.

This clarification from Samantha’s team has come as a big relief for the fans who are now wishing her a speedy recovery.

Samantha, who recently participated in shooting for ‘Pushpa’s item song, had jived with Allu Arjun.

Telugu star Prabhas is known for his hospitality on the sets of his movies as his co-stars are always fed famous local delicacies and Deepika Padukone has now joined the list.

Prabhas is currently working on multiple projects, one of which is under Nag Ashwin’s direction. Paired with Deepika Padukone, the movie is tentatively titled ‘Project-K’.

The actors, who joined the sets of ‘Project-K’ wrapped up the first schedule recently. So, Prabhas, who loves to treat his co-stars with special delicacies, had arranged for a grand meal with amazing food on the sets of ‘Project-K’.

Deepika shared a picture on her social media handle, which features a nice spread of sumptuous Andhra and Hyderabadi delicacies. The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actress captioned the picture, “#IfYouKnowYouKnow” as she displays umpteen dishes from their meal.

Deepika, who flew off to Mumbai post her shoot schedule, shared a picture of the sky from an airplane and wrote, “You were lovely #Hyderabad … Until we meet again…#ItsAWrap #Schedule1 #ProjectK @actorprabhas @nag_ashwin (sic).”

Ace director S.S. Rajamouli has exhorted actor Allu Arjun to aggressively promote the latter’s upcoming film ‘Pushpa’.

The pre-release function of Allu Arjun’s upcoming movie ‘Pushpa’ saw noted Telugu directors, technicians, and actors. Rajamouli, who was one of the guests on the occasion, had also spoken on the stage.

Rajamouli, who is busy promoting his magnum opus ‘RRR’ had attended the pre-release event of ‘Pushpa’, on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, Rajamouli said, “I am proud that Bunny ( Allu Arjun) is a part of such a homogeneous project.”

“But, I want you to promote the movie even harder. See, I had travelled to Bombay recently, where I tried to gather information on what are the projects they are waiting to witness. People are looking forward to watching ‘Pushpa’. I want you people to know that this movie has got a decent buzz everywhere,” Rajamouli stressed.

“You can’t let it go like this. Please push forward even harder, and promote ‘Pushpa’ even more. As I know the calibre of this subject, I want to see people talking about it,” Rajamouli suggested Allu Arjun.

Rajamouli also spoke highly of director Sukumar, who missed the pre-release event, as he wished the entire team of ‘Pushpa’ for the movie’s success.

‘Pushpa’ will be out in theaters on December 17. Helmed by Sukumar, this movie marks his third collaboration of the director with Allu Arjun. The two-part, sandalwood smuggling-related tale stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.

“The wedding track is full of surprises, amid all the wedding festivities. Niyati’s (Simran Kaur) heart is torn between Dr Anand (Tushar Chawla) and Abhimanyu (Himanshu Soni). It is painful for her to go through the wedding and difficult to control her feelings for Abhimanyu,” she says.

Talking about the major twist in the story, the actress reveals: “The mystery of Abhimanyu and Niyati’s past will have a deep impact on the course of this love story. I think the audience is in for a roller coaster ride with twists and turns that will keep them guessing and thoroughly engaged.”

Wedding tracks always grab attention, says Simran. “Such tracks are always an essential part of Indian TV serials as they showcase our culture. The different rituals that are followed in different parts of the country and how they are based on societal values make the wedding track really interesting,” she adds.

In every show, wedding tracks give ample opportunity to dress up and drama. So, do you enjoy that as an actor? “Yes, I love dressing up in traditional Indian bridal attire. In fact, this is my fourth wedding in as many shows. I have been a Bhojpuri/Bihari/Tamil/Punjabi bride in previous shows. The drama and plot twists around weddings are really captivating and I love enacting the role of the bride whose life is about to change,” she says.

Taapsee Pannu-starrer ‘Looop Lapeta’ set for OTT release

Comedy thriller ‘Looop Lapeta’, which stars Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin, is directly heading for an OTT release.

Sony Pictures Films India has joined forces with streaming giant Netflix for the film’s release.

‘Looop Lapeta’ directed by debutant writer-director Aakash Bhatia, is a remake of the cult classic ‘Run Lola Run’, and tells the story of a girlfriend, who’s on a mission to rescue her boyfriend from a sticky situation.

Talking about the film, Aakash Bhatia said, “There’s no way to downplay the exhilaration of making the first film and ‘Looop Lapeta’ has surpassed every bit of it. I’m extremely excited about the shape we have given it. It boldly jumps genres from comedy, thriller to romance and makes for a rollercoaster ride for audiences.”

Revealing his approach for the story, he said, “My approach has been to tightly hold on to the emotional core of our story and characters, while consciously playing with style and form. A powerhouse ensemble cast and crew made this project what it is.”

“The creative collaborators, Atul Kasbekar and Tanuj made for great producers on this debut journey. I’m elated that Netflix is the platform that the world gets to watch ‘Looop Lapeta’ on,” Bhatia added.

Tanuj Garg and Atul Kasbekar, Managing Partners at Ellipsis Entertainment, jointly said in a statement, “‘Looop Lapeta’ is yet another testimony to Ellipsis’ vision of consistently identifying and backing first-rate directorial and writing talent, and unconventional clutter-breaking content appealing to new-age audiences.”

The film produced by Sony Pictures Films India, Ellipsis Entertainment and Aayush Maheshwari, will soon premiere exclusively on Netflix.
