Urvashi Rautela part of the jury at Miss Universe pageant as Harnaaz won

Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela, who served as one of the Miss Universe judges at the Universe Dome in Eilat, Israel, is thrilled as India’s Harnaaz Sandhu won the Miss Universe title.

Urvashi shared a video on her Instagram account with Harnaaz Sandhu. In the video, Urvashi was seen carrying a tricolour in one hand while hugging Harnaaz.

She says: “I would say that I am super happy as I was the only Indian in the jury to witness that historic moment in front of my eyes. I couldn’t control my tears at the moment. From the moment I entered Israel to meet the former Prime Minister as he had invited me and my family till being the judge at the Miss Universe, back in the time when I was the part of Miss Universe we rarely used to have anyone as an Indian judge, like rarely about one per cent.

“So, for me being the judge for the very first time at the Miss Universe pageant and then India winning, nothing could be more historic than it. I saw the iconic moment with my eyes. I feel as the luckiest person in the entire universe right now because achieving so much love, respect, and recognition in Israel from the people from the organization and the government is truly iconic as it’s a proud moment for me,” she adds.

Pawan Kalyan: By stopping my movies, YSRCP want to cut off my financial sources

Jana Sena Party chief and actor Pawan Kalyan slammed the ‘indifferent attitude’ of the ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh as he accused it of trying to stop the release of his movies.

As Pawan Kalyan staged a sit-in at Mangalagiri, to protest against the privatisation of Vizag Steel Plant, he called out the Andhra Pradesh government, who went back on the promise made to the people.

Pawan Kalyan spoke about his electoral loss in Gajuwaka. “I am here to fight for the people. That is why I am here to support this protest against the privatisation of Vizag Steel Plant, though I lost in Gajuwaka.”

Pawan also said, “Now that YSRCP has backtracked on their stand, they want me to fight with the BJP government to oppose privatisation of Vizag Steel Plant. But, the ruling party almost forgot that they had promised to do the same during the local body elections. People must remember all these deeds before they cast their votes in the coming elections.”

The actor-turned-politician also spoke on how the government has been trying to shut his financial sources down by stopping his movies from being released. “These people are trying their best to stop my movies from being released. They think they can shut down all the sources of my income by doing so. If necessary, I can release my movies for free,” Pawan said, on a witty note.

The Andhra Pradesh government had passed orders to slash the ticket prices for Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Vakeel Saab’ earlier.

‘Bigg Boss Telugu 5’: Speculation rife on who’ll exit house this weekend

Telugu’s biggest reality show hosted by Nagarjuna, ‘Bigg Boss Telugu 5’, is marching towards the finale, as there are only six contestants left in the house now.

VJ Sunny, Manas, Sree Rama Chandra, Kajal, Siri and Shanmukh are the top-six contestants for the season. With Sree Rama Chandra already in the finale, tension prevails among the contestants as to who would leave the house the coming weekend.

VJ Sunny, who rose to be a good performer in the current season, has gained much popularity, and the voting patterns are completely in favour of this actor. On the other hand, Manas, who is termed as the most mature guy of the season, seems to be safe, though his voting percentage is still very less when compared to Sunny.

Kajal, whose graph grew over time, seems to be in the danger zone, as per reports. Siri and Shanmukh, who were expected to be in the finale, have been inconsistent in the recent episodes. So, the duo’s votes seem to put them in the danger zone.

Shanmukh, who has garnered huge fandom for his webseries, was supposed to be in the top-3 list, but his recent behaviour on the show has put him in the line below bottom.

With this, it is clear that one among Siri, Kajal and Shanmukh might be shown the exit door in the coming eliminations.

NTR Jr explains why his ‘RRR’ character gives him an adrenaline rush

When NTR Jr was quizzed at the launch of the ‘RRR’ trailer here on Thursday about the movie offers he had to decline because of this pan-Indian period film, he had a ready answer, which was like a tribute to the director S.S. Rajamouli.

“Do You think someone could come up to me and offer me a film when I was doing a Rajamouli movie?” NTR Jr countered. “This does not happen in the industry when you’re working with Jakkanna. ‘Aisa nahi hota hain’.” Rajamouli is lovingly addressed as ‘Jakkanna’ by NTR Jr and others in Tollywood.

Addressing the journalist who asked this question, NTR Jr added: “You know, you’ve been there for a long time. The sooner you accept it the better it is.” He surprised the media with his flawless Hindi and quick wit.

The ‘Aravind Sametha Veera Raghava’ actor will be seen essaying the role of Komaram Bheem, the Gond leader who fought the Nizam’s administration in the 1930s, in ‘RRR’. In the trailer, the actor is introduced as a protector of the Gond tribe. He’s seen taking on a tiger in the trailer.

Commenting on his character, NTR Jr said: “There are some historical heroes whose stories remain in your memory since your childhood. Robin Hood, for example. Playing Bheem took me down memory lane.”

He added: “When you think about the freedom fighters, you feel the adrenaline rush just thinking about what they did for us and how much a part of their lives they are. So, for me, it wasn’t that difficult. I just did what my director had asked me to do.”
