The makers of magnum opus ‘RRR’ teased fans with a brand new poster featuring Jr NTR, who plays ‘Komaram Bheem’ in the pan-India movie.

Top Telugu director S.S. Rajamouli’s upcoming movie ‘RRR’ is one of the most awaited pan-Indian movies. With Tollywood’s lead actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the key roles, the action drama is prepping up for its release soon.

Giving a glimpse of what can be expected from the actor in the film, the makers unleashed the poster featuring Jr NTR in a ferocious avatar. His hands are tied to a tree and he is seen covered in blood, showing off his well-built abs. The title logo in the backdrop features Ram Charan too.

‘RRR’ is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad. Ram Charan and Jr NTR play Alluri and Komaram Bheem while Ajay Devgn will appear in the role of their Guru.

Alia Bhatt is paired with Ram Charan, while British actress Olivia Morris plays Jr NTR’s love interest. Shriya Saran is to also play a significant role.

M.M. Keeravani has composed the music for ‘RRR’, while all the songs released by the team have become chartbusters, the real surprise would be the theatrical trailer which is out on December 9.

Jayantilal Gada (PEN) has bagged the theatrical distribution rights for the movie across north India and has also bought worldwide electronic rights for all languages. Pen Marudhar will be distributing the film in the north.

The Telugu-language period action drama has attained pan-India status and is produced by D.V.V. Danayya of DVV Entertainments. ‘RRR’ is releasing on January 7, 2022.

Amid the hullabaloo of his wedding with Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal’s sweet gesture for the paparazzi has won the Internet. The actor sent out food packets prepared by his chef for the mediapersons stationed outside his house.

Paparazzi account Viral Bhayani shared a video of the food that was neatly packed in containers. The wedding festivities began last night with a function at Vicky’s home for which Katrina and her mom reached Vicky’s place.

Katrina was dressed in a white saree for the function. The car that Vicky earlier put at his mother-in-law’s disposal was seen with Sham Kaushal as he stepped out for some work in Mumbai’s Lokhandwala area.

Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif as the two are expected to reach the venue by Monday evening. The wedding will take place at the plush heritage property of Six Senses Fort Barwara Hotel with 120 guests attending the wedding, all of whom will be required to undergo mandatory RT-PCR tests.

Hrithik, Saif-starrer ‘Vikram Vedha’ slated for global release on Sep 30, 2022

The first filming schedule of action-packed thriller ‘Vikram Vedha’, which is being co-produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks and S. Sashikanth’s YNOT Studios, has concluded in Abu Dhabi with Hrithik Roshan. It spanned across 27 days.

The second schedule has begun with Saif Ali Khan in Lucknow. The film will hit the big screens globally on September 30, 2022.

The film stars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles, with Radhika Apte playing a pivotal character. Pushkar and Gayatri, the original writers and directors, are helming the Hindi remake too.

A cult classic in its own right, ‘Vikram Vedha’ is a neo-noir action thriller based on the folk tale ‘Vikram Aur Betaal’. The film tells the story of a tough police officer who sets out to track down and kill an equally tough gangster. The original Tamil blockbuster starred R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.

“We are delighted to be working with Hrithik and Saif — two great actors,” Pushkar and Gayatri, the directors, said in a statement. “With a superb team around us, we hope to deliver a film that will be intense and exciting.”

Bhushan Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director, T-Series, said: “‘Vikram Vedha’ promises to be one of the most thrilling and entertaining films of the year. The announcement itself has sparked off a great deal of interest in the audience.”

The 2002 film ‘Naa Tum Jaano Naa Hum’ was the last release where Hrithik and Saif were seen together.

Commenting on ‘Vikram Vedha’, co-producer S. Sashikanth said: “After having produced the original version in Tamil four years ago, we are excited to see how ‘Vikram Vedha’ has been shaping up in Hindi with Hrithik and Saif pushing the boundaries and taking this story to a global audience.”

Gemini TV premiered the special episode of ‘Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu’, featuring Telugu star Mahesh Babu as the guest on the quiz show hosted by ‘RRR’ Jr NTR.

This is the first time that Mahesh Babu has appeared on a game show.

Mahesh Babu, who won Rs 25 lakh by answering the questions on the quiz show, conveyed that he wanted to utilise the money for charity work he has been doing. As the show went on, the duo was seen having conversations about their movies, work, music, and many other interesting topics.

Jr NTR asked Mahesh about his daughter Sitara, to which Mahesh answered, “We share different bonds in every other phase. From 1-3 years, it is a different kind of bond, then from 3-5, it is different. Each passing year, the kind of relationship keeps changing. A father needs upgradation, each time.”

To this, Jr NTR said, “I feel jealous of people who have a girl child.”

Mahesh, spontaneously said, “You can have one,” to which everyone on the set burst out laughing. “It is really special to be a father, be it a girl child, or a boy,” Mahesh said, to which Jr NTR agrees, still pointing that he always wanted to have a daughter.

There were moments where the duo also spoke about their upcoming movies, and Jr NTR tried his best to make Mahesh Babu reveal things related to his upcoming movie with S.S. Rajamouli.

Telugu star Ravi Teja’s upcoming action thriller ‘Ramarao On Duty’ will hit the big screen on March 25, 2022.

‘Ramarao On Duty’ is directed by debutant filmmaker Sarath Mandava. The makers have announced the release date of the movie, along with a poster.

The makers also unveiled a fun poster from the movie, featuring Ravi Teja. With a huge crowd and policemen in the background, Ravi Teja is seen in a perky avatar, in the poster which was released on Monday.

‘Majili’ fame Divyansha Koushik and Rajisha Vijayan are the female leads opposite Ravi Teja in ‘Ramarao On Duty’. The film is to see Venu Thottempudi in one of the lead roles.

Bankrolled under Sudhakar Cherukuri’s SLV Cinemas LLP and RT Teamworks, the movie is nearing completion. Currently, an action sequence is being shot in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, as per reports.

Vicky, Katrina to reach wedding venue by Monday evening

Bollywood couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, who are slated to tie the knot at the Six Senses Fort Barwara Hotel on Thursday, will depart from Mumbai at around 12 noon on Monday and are likely to reach Jaipur by 6 p.m., sources have confirmed.

The would-be bride and groom are scheduled to reach Chauth ka Barwada at about 9 p.m. from Jaipur by road, following which a welcome ceremony will be held at the Six Senses Fort Barwara Hotel.

The sources said that the couple’s families will also be at the venue.

Various wedding-related rituals will be held in the hotel from Tuesday to Thursday.

The wedding will be held in Rajwadi style, the sources said, adding that many film celebrities and VIP guests will attend the event.

Six Senses Fort Barwara Hotel is located in the town of Barwara, Chauth of Sawai Madhopur.

Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli, who is gearing up for the release of his pan-India epic ‘RRR’ starring Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Shriya Saran, is all set to treat fans in the US with his upcoming film.

Apart from India, the makers are aiming to release the film in 1,000 plus multiplexes only in the US, bringing back the glory of Indian cinema to the overseas audience.

Sarigama Cinemas and Raftar Creations are jointly distributing the movie in the US.

The anticipation among the audiences has been increasing day by day not just in India but worldwide as it is the biggest action drama to date.

The makers have shared multiple assets including posters and songs with glimpses of Ajay Devgan, Alia Bhatt, and Ram Charan, among others.

The film’s trailer is also to be unveiled on December 9 followed by a grand event.

Post Baahubali’s success, Rajamouli became a nationwide household name, and he has now made another film on a grand scale and is set to break many records.

Nagesh Kukunoor’s ‘Good Luck Sakhi’ to now release on Dec 31

The release of director Nagesh Kukunoor’s much-awaited Telugu film ‘Good Luck Sakhi’, featuring Keerthy Suresh and actor Aadhi in the lead, has now been pushed to December 31, the team announced on Sunday.

The film, which was supposed to be released on November 26, got postponed and it was announced that the film would instead release on December 10. However, Worth a Shot, the production house producing the film, announced on Sunday evening that the film, “due to unforeseen issues” would be “arriving on New Year’s Eve (December 31, 2021)”.

The production house also said that it was “working hard to bring this with lots of love” and asked fans to stay with it.

The film, which has music by Devi Sri Prasad, has cinematography by Chiranthan Das.

Sources say that the film is about how a girl, believed to bring bad luck to everyone, emerges as a champion sharp shooter.

The makers who had earlier postponed the release of the trailer, took to their social media on the fresh date for the theatrical trailer of the magnum opus ‘RRR’.

‘RRR’s theatrical trailer was supposed to be out on December 3. But, the makers postponed the release of the much-awaited trailer, quoting ‘unforeseen circumstances’. Now that the fresh date has been announced, expectations are rife.

“#RRRTrailer out on December 9th. Gear up for a massive explosion”, the makers tweeted on Saturday, while Ram Charan and NTR wrote, “Get ready to witness the magnificence of India’s biggest action drama. #RRRTrailer out on December 9th”, on their Twitter timelines.

Director S.S. Rajamouli’s fictional epic ‘RRR’ has got everyone excited. The movie has got an ensemble star cast in Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, and Shriya Saran in the lead roles.

Kamal Haasan returns to take over as anchor of ‘Bigg Boss Tamil 5’

Actor-politician Kamal Haasan, who returned from hospital on Saturday after recovering from Covid, took over as anchor of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss Tamil 5’ from actress Ramya Krishnan who had stepped in for him for a week.

Confirming his return, the makers of the reality show released their first promo showing Kamal Haasan hosting the event.

In the promo, Kamal said, “I, who have recovered only because of your love, am back with you all again today.”

“This season, from what I have observed from the outside, I think people are playing as individuals. Each one has their own plans and strategy. Let’s watch the outcomes of their strategies tonight,” the star said, much to the delight of the fans who were sorely missing him in action.

Ramya Krishnan had to step in to anchor the show in Kamal’s place for a week, after Kamal Haasan tested positive for Covid-19. The actor isolated himself and underwent treatment at the Sri Ramachandar Medical Centre in Porur from where he was discharged on Saturday.
