Sunny Leone has urged everyone to fight Covid-19, saying it is time to get vaccinated.

Sunny posted a picture on Instagram where she is seen a blue lace leotard paired with a tan jacket, smiling at the camera.

“Let’s take the fight to #covid_19. It’s time to get Vaccinated!! Vaccinate yourself and your loved ones to give everyone especially the Frontline warriors a fighting chance against the pandemic!!” Sunny wrote alongside the image.

Sunny is currently in Kerala to shoot her upcoming film, the psychological thriller “Shero”. It is directed by Sreejith Vijayan and will be released in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam.

She had recently shot for the reality TV show “MTV Splitsvilla” in the state.

Shalini Kapoor develops interest in interior designing

Actress Shalini Kapoor is using her lockdown free time to learn about interior design.

Shalini, who is known for her roles in television shows such as “Devon K Dev… Mahadev”, “Qubool Hai” and “Saath Phere” among others, started redesigning her house to put knowledge into practice.

“While I was traveling for my shoots for Qabool Hai’s second season last year, I was reading books on interior designing. I have taken a lot of inspiration from Twinkle Khanna, too, and I’m more creative now,” Shalini told.

She adds: “I was aiming to redesign my house since December last year. So, I managed to have a good stock of the required stuff I would need. Now, I’m completely redesigning my house. I started with my bedroom. I’m glad about the look and proud of myself.”

Actress Snehalata Vasaikar, who shares the screen with child actors Aditi Jaltare and Krish Chauhan in the show “Punyashlok Ahilyabai”, says she often tries to help the kids imbibe the nuances of poetry.

“Aditi and Krish are such young talented kids. They juggle their academics and acting so effortlessly, it’s inspiring. I honestly love to spend time with them, in whatever way I can. Which is why, any chance I get, I sit with the kids and help them learn the art of poetry in all its nuances,” she says.

The actress adds that the two young actors have been doing well on the show.

“Both of them exhibit great interest and hold amazing grasping power. Also, they are such bright kids, not only have they imbibed their characters so well on screen, but they’re equally adept at academics and extra-curricular activities,” she says.

Mandira Bedi to play ‘fierce, fiery, fantastic’ cop in upcoming web series

Mandira Bedi will soon be seen in a cop avatar, in an upcoming murder mystery series.

“I play the role of Ruhana Dhulap, a sharp, short-tempered yet successful police officer. She is fierce, fiery, and fantastic at what she does. However, it is this one murder case of a young businessman that has her completely web locked and she puts her all into solving it.”

“I have played a police officer before but Ruhana’s character is different, and what I enjoyed the most was (the fact that) her approach to each interrogation is unique. I believe this is a series that’s truly one of a kind. I am eagerly looking forward to the release of this edge-of-the-seat thriller,” she said.

Details and the title of the show are still under wraps. The show also stars Sid Makkar, Dipannita Sharma, and Nauheed Cyrusi, and will be released on Disney+ Hotstar.

Rachel Bilson: ‘The O.C.’ reboot would be awesome

Actress Rachel Bilson, who gained instant fandom with her role as Summer Roberts in the popular teen drama series “The O.C.”, roots for a reboot of the popular series.

The series originally ran between 2003 and 2007, and it also stars Peter Gallagher, Kelly Rowan, Ben McKenzie, Mischa Barton, Adam Brody, Chris Carmack, Tate Donovan, and Autumn Reeser among others.

“I know we talked about definitely getting together personally, as a reunion … all of us getting together. I think we have spoken to some already, everyone’s onboard for that. But a reboot would be awesome,” Bilson told Entertainment Tonight, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

She added: “I think that’s in the hands of (creators and executive producers) Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. There’s still a ways to go, so maybe they’ll figure it out! That’d be fun.”

Despite the show’s success, Bilson doesn’t actually have many vivid memories of the series.

“I’ve learned that I actually have zero memory and don’t remember most of the things that happened on this show. So I’m kind of going through this with everyone else, re-watching it, discovering it. I wouldn’t even say rediscovering it, (I’m) discovering it for the first time!”

The actress is now the mother of a six-year-old daughter called Briar Rose. She feels that motherhood has changed her attitude towards the show.

“I’m watching it now as a mother, and I’m seeing all of these things that I’m definitely not OK with as a mother, so that’s been eye-opening. But more than anything it’s just been a lot of fun,” she said.

She joked that she’ll wait until her daughter is in her mid-30s before she introduces her to the series.

“When she is 35 or older. I’m going to hold her off from it for as long as possible!” she said.

Madhuri Dixit gets her second jab of Covid vax

Actress Madhuri Dixit Nene has urged everyone to get vaccinated, adding that she has received her second jab of the Covid vaccine.

“Got my second jab today. I urge everyone to get vaccinated as soon as it’s available to you. #StayHomeStaySafe,” Madhuri wrote as the caption with a picture on Instagram she posted on Monday night, where she is seen sitting on a chair and getting the second dose.

Earlier this month, the actress reacted to the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has badly affected India in its ongoing second wave.

Kangana replies to netizens trending #Resign_PM_Modi

Actress Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday took a jibe at trolls using a hashtag demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has been trending on Twitter.

“Modi Ji does not know how to lead, Kangana does not know how to act, Sachin does not know how to bat, Lata ji does not know how to sing, Magar these chindi trolls know everything, please #Resign_PM_Modi ji and make one of these Vishnu avatar trolls next Prime Minister of India,” Kangana tweeted.

The hashtag #Resign_PM_Modi has been trending on Twitter since morning with a section of netizens blaming the Prime Minister for the second wave of the pandemic in India.

Commenting on the actress’s tweet, netizens expressed their mind. Some users feel PM Modi should not have permitted mass gatherings like Kumbh Mela and election rallies at a time when the second wave of Covid-19 was on.

“Don’t get hyper for everything u also should realize this time he has made some mistakes like Kumbh and elections rallies. It’s time for him to act as a countries PM and take the onus on him and assure everyone he will make it right,” commented a user.

There were many others who supported PM Modi and Kangana, too. “Why you people always blaming Modiji for every reason. We are responsible for this situation, we have not maintained social distancing, not wore a mask, etc. state govt has all rights to take decisions, why they have not taken,” wrote a user.

Disha Patani shares her looks in ‘Seeti maar’

Disha Patani on Tuesday shared a video montage of her various looks in the song “Seeti maar” of the upcoming film “Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai” starring Salman Khan.

The video has Disha sports two different looks. In the first, she sports fishnets, loose black cargo pants, and a crop top. The second look has her sporting a cut-out white leotard with embellishments, paired with loose blue pants.

For the caption, she dropped a pink flower emoji and wrote “#SeetiMaar”.

“Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai” is scheduled to open theatrically on May 13, on the occasion of Eid, across all Indian states where theatres are operational as per Covid protocols. The film simultaneously drops on the premium pay-per-view service platform Zeeplex.

The film co-stars Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff and is directed by Prabhu Deva.

“Radhe” is also scheduled to release in the Middle East, North America, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Europe, and will be the first Bollywood film to release theatrically in the UK since lockdown last year.

Rannvijay Singha reunites with wife, daughter

Actor Rannvijay Singha took to social media to post a picture on Monday, with wife Priyanka and daughter Kainaat.

In the picture, the three of them can be spotted spending time outdoors. The actor wrote about how he was not able to be with his family over the last four months owing to Covid restrictions and is happy to finally be back.

“To be reunited with the pieces of your own heart can’t be expressed. @priankasingha @singhakainaat Due to covid restrictions on travel and our lives I was away from them for 4 months. Rannvijay is currently a part of the OTT series “Sumer Singh Case Files: Girlfriends”. He is known for hosting reality shows such as “Roadies” and “Splitsvilla”.
