Who is Alia Bhatt ‘missing’ lately?

Actress Alia Bhatt on Friday posted a romantic picture that has her holding hands with someone whose face is not seen in the frame.

“Major missing,” wrote Alia, as the caption with the image, adding a heart emoji.

This has naturally led to speculations, considering Alia’s rumored boyfriend, actor Ranbir Kapoor, recently tested positive for Covid-19, and is in isolation.

The actress has earlier posted a statement to say that she has tested negative for the virus, and is resuming work.

Alia’s “Ganguabi Kathiawadi” director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has also reportedly tested positive for Covid-19 and is under quarantine.

Besides the Bhansali directorial, the actress is also shooting for her debut production “Darlings”. The film also stars Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma.

Estranged Kim and Kanye trust each other with the kids

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West apparently started maintaining distance from long before their divorce proceedings started. However, this has never affected the fact that they trust each other with the children.

“Even before Kim filed for divorce, Kanye changed his numbers and said, ‘you can contact me through my security,” a source told Page Six.

“Despite this, she trusts him around the kids. He loves them and is seeing a lot of them,” the source added.

The estranged couple makes sure not to cross paths even when Kanye visits the children and Kim is around, the Page Six report further stated.

“She leaves the house and he arrives and hangs out with the kids. They have an army of nannies so the transition is easy,” the source said.

Kim and Kanye have four children — daughters North, 7, and Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 5, and one-year-old Psalm.

Kagana is fake, Urmila has substance: Malvi Malhotra

Actress Malvi Malhotra, who hit the headlines last year after a producer stabbed her thrice for rejecting his proposal, says what followed taught her that Kangana Ranaut was a fake person while Urmila Matondkar was a woman of substance.

Talking about Kangana, she said: “I approached her as we belong to the same town, and there was a relation between us. I have met her two to three times, and I thought she is powerful in the industry and she can help me out. She said a lot of things on Twitter, claiming she would help me, she would come to rescue me but no one from her team approached me. That was the time when I needed her help as my case was going on and I was being harassed. But no one came. She backed out from whatever she claimed,” said Malvi.

Actor-politician Urmila Matondarkar then took up the case, Malvi recalled.

“At the same time, Urmila Matondkar came up, her team approached me and helped me out. Urmila personally came to meet me and is still in touch with me. She messaged me inquiring whether I need something or some help,” said Malvi.

Asked if she felt that Kangana makes bold claims on social media to hog the limelight, Malvi replied: “I am not sure whether she says stuff online to hog the limelight. She has a take on every issue, be it the farmers’ protest or anything, she has to say something. But when it actually comes to helping, she is never there to help. So what’s the point of saying all that? It means you are not a woman of substance. Don’t get me wrong, I respect her as an actor. She is a great actress, but as a human being, I do not respect her at all.”

“Urmila Matondkar is a great woman, a woman of substance, and I am so happy she joined Shiv Sena. She deserves it. She is a woman with emotion, she connects with people. I saw the pain in her eyes for me when I met her. She really felt for what happened to me. If I have to sum up the whole incident, Urmila is definitely fabulous and a woman of substance but Kangana is fake. I can say that much,” added Malvi.

Meanwhile, Malvi has resumed the shoot of her forthcoming web series “Geisha”, helmed by Raaj Verma, and co-starring Aman Verma and Tarun Khanna.

Bumrah to marry TV presenter Sanjana

India pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah is likely to marry TV presenter Sanjana Ganesan this month.

Social media was full of posts that the two were getting married either on March 14 or 15 in Goa, though neither Bumrah nor Sanjana confirmed the news.

Bumrah opted out of the fourth and final Test against England, apparently due to this reason. India won the Test to clinch the series 3-1 and enter the final of the World Test Championship.

Sources had said at the time that the right-arm fast bowler had pulled out citing ‘personal reasons’ and had sought permission from the Indian cricket board (BCCI), which gave him permission to withdraw.

Bumrah is unlikely to play in the five-match T20 International series against England that starts on March 12, also in Ahmedabad.

The talk in Ahmedabad during the fourth Test was that he was likely to get married to a sports presenter.

Bumrah, with his mother and sister, was due to travel to Mumbai on way to Goa.

Only a select few family members are likely to attend the wedding due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, sources said.

The India team members would not be present due to the ongoing series as well as restrictions.

Bumrah was born and brought up in Ahmedabad. He and his sister were raised by their mother after the death of their father. Bumrah’s mother was the vice-principal of Nirman Public School where the fast bowler studied and first took up cricket under the coaching of Kishore Trivedi.

Arshi Khan buys a flat in Mumbai

Arshi Khan, who was recently seen on “Bigg Boss 14”, has fulfilled her dream of buying a flat in Mumbai.

Arshi reveals she had planned to buy a house in Mumbai before last year but then lockdown happened. “I was in talks to buy the property for a long time. I booked it in 2019 but then in 2020 Covid happened. I was not that strong financially at that point, and with no work, I was literally stressed about how I would arrange the sum,” she recalled.

Her luck, however, turned for the better. “Luckily my movies happened then, besides OTT shows. ‘Bigg Boss’ was a great help. I was literally risking everything to buy a house here in Mumbai, just to make my dream come true,” she said.

“I feel my dream has been fulfilled by the blessings of God and my parents. It was God who gave me the fortune to do Bigg Boss this year. I remember being approached for the show last to last year, but unfortunately, things did not fall in place. So, I am in a happy place now,” she added.

“I always had a dream to own a house in Mumbai for a long time now. I was living on rent. I also own a flat in Bhopal and a farmhouse there. But having a dream house in Mumbai was like buying a flat on the moon, and but I am living it!” Arshi signed off.
