Telugu star Sudheer Babu’s pan India film titled ‘Harom Hara’

Director Gnanasagar Dwaraka’s upcoming film, featuring actor Sudheer Babu in the lead, has been titled ‘Harom Hara’, its makers announced on Monday.

This will be Sudheer Babu’s 18th film and is being produced by Sumanth G. Naidu under the banner of SSC (Sree Subrahmanyeshwara Cinemas).

DiDwaraka is best known for his debut film, the youthful entertainer ‘Sehari’.

Along with the title ‘Harom Hara’, the makers also released the tagline, ‘The Revolt’. Sources say that while the title appears to be spiritual, the tagline discloses the revenge aspect of the story.

The conceptual title video demonstrates the setting, backdrop, and scale of the movie.

The story is set in 1989 in Kuppam of Chittoor district. Popular places such as Subramanya Swamy Temple, Jagadamba Talkies, and a railway station are shown in the video.

The video presents Sudheer Babu in a never-seen-before mass avatar. “Inga Seppedem Ledua Sesedea” utters Sudheer Babu, when a person asks him to put an end to his silence.

The actor seems to have undergone a complete makeover for the movie. Chaitan Bharadwaj’s background score is apt.

Aravind Vishwanathan has handled the cinematography of the movie, while Ramesh Kumar G presents it.

‘Harom Hara’ will have a pan-India release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Audiences should call out bad films, says Kamal Haasan

Stating that fans had a great responsibility, actor Kamal Haasan said that they must make it a point to call good films good and bad films bad.

Speaking at the audio launch event of director Prabhu Solomon’s ‘Sembi’, featuring Kovai Sarala and Ashwin in the titular roles, Kamal Haasan said: “During those days while seeking a chance, I would carry a photo album with my pics from the film ’16 Vayadhinile’.

“I would keep showing it to people saying, ‘I am acting in this film as its hero’. Some would have good words to say. There were others who would say, ‘Don’t you feel ashamed carrying a book in which you have a picture of yourself in a loin cloth?’ I remember all those words today when one of the speakers here praised me saying I attend the audio launches of both big and small films.”

“One cannot decide which is a big film or a small film from here,” he said, and then pointing to the audience, he added: “They are the ones who decide.”

“If we are talking about ’16 Vayathinile’, remembering it after almost 40 years after it was made, then that is what is a big film. There are times when we struggle to remember the name of a film, saying, ‘What was that film that was made for so many crores?’ That is a small film,” he explained.

Stating that he had watched ‘Sembi’, Kamal Haasan called it a good film. “The core point the film looks to make is good. I have seen this film. Our silence is the biggest danger. When you don’t question people committing mistakes as to why they are doing so, the mistakes will continue. This film says that and that is why I like this film. It reminds us all that we have a duty.”

The actor then told the audience: “As fans, you too have a great responsibility and duty, you must call good films good and bad films bad. You must do that boldly and without fear.”

The event was attended by a host of dignitaries including the cast and crew of the film.

Twitter in ‘sane hands’ but can’t be successful without me: Trump

Former US President Donald Trump has hailed Elon Musk for acquiring Twitter for $44 billion, saying the micro-blogging platform is now in “sane hands”.

He, however, did not reveal on his own social media platform called ‘Truth Social’ that he wishes to make a comeback on the platform which banned him after the Capitol Hill riots in January 2021.

“I am very happy that Twitter is now in sane hands, and will no longer be run by Radical Left Lunatics and Maniacs that truly hate our country,” Trump said in a post.

In an interview with Fox News Digital on Friday, he said: “I like Elon and I wish him a lot of luck. I hope he does well with it.”

However, the 76-year-old real estate magnate added that “I don’t think Twitter can be successful without me”.

The ‘Chief Twit’ Musk has said that he will reinstate Trump’s account on Twitter and has announced forming a content moderation council for such decisions.

Trump has over four million users on Truth Social, which he founded in October last year.

Truth Social resurfaced on Google Play Store earlier this month after the tech giant banned it in August over failing to meet its policies.

The platform agreed to enforce content moderation measures on users.

It is now available to more than 44 percent of smartphone users in the US who are on Android.

Musk called the Truth Social app as a “Trumpet” of a “right-wing echo chamber”.

The Tesla CEO said that he bought Twitter in order to avoid the site becoming a counterpart to Truth Social.
