Harish Shankar promises to deliver good news on ‘Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh’

Director Harish Shankar’s Twitter post assures Pawan Kalyan’s fans of an exciting update on their much-hyped next film ‘Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh’.

The ‘Gabbar Singh’ director, who posted an interesting update, also shared a picture, as he wrote, “Guys remember this pic. Will share this exciting conversation when time permits”.

“Fully loaded. Mallee Loaded (Extra loaded)”, the ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ director hints at the kind of content to expect from ‘Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh’.

In the picture, Pawan Kalyan, who recently played ‘Bheemla Nayak’, a cop from a tribal region, is seen having a deep conversation with Harish Shankar.

The picture is from the sets of ‘Bheemla Nayak’, where they seem to have met to discuss things related to their next project (Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh) together.

Well, Pawan Kalyan’s fans have been waiting for the ‘Gabbar Singh’ duo to come together for another time.

‘Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh’ was announced earlier in September, and was supposed to get started, but the pandemic scenario pushed it away.

It is being talked about that the makers of Pawan Kalyan-Harish Shankar’s ‘Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh’ will make an official launch for the movie. Meanwhile, the pre-production work for the movie will begin soon.

On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan will wrap up his present commitment ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’, directed by Krish. Pawan is also in talks for a couple of homogenous projects and will be busy with his political work as well.

Hollywood star Sean Penn abandons car, leaves Ukraine on foot

Actor-director Sean Penn who was in Ukraine to shoot a documentary has walked towards the Poland border after abandoning his car, according to reports.

The Academy Award-winning took to Twitter and mentioned that he and two colleagues walked “miles” to the Polish border after abandoning their car on the side of a road, along with a photo from the situation.

Penn, in a tweet on Monday, wrote: “Myself & two colleagues walked miles to the Polish border after abandoning our car on the side of the road. Almost all the cars in this photo carry women & children only, most without any sign of luggage, and a car their only possession of value.”

It was earlier reported a week ago that Penn has been working on a documentary in Ukraine after he was photographed at a news conference held at the Presidential Office in Kiev amid Russia’s attack on Ukraine.

He had also shared a statement on Twitter, saying: “President Zelensky and the Ukrainian people have risen as historic symbols of courage and principle. Ukraine is the tip of the spear for the democratic embrace of dreams. If we allow it to fight alone, our soul as America is lost.”

Prabhas reveals why he isn’t married yet!

Prabhas, who joined his ‘Radhe Shyam’ team at a grand event in Mumbai, revealed why he isn’t married yet. When asked about predicting love, Prabhas’ witty response made everyone laugh out loud.

As Prabhas interacted with the media on Wednesday in Mumbai, he was quizzed about dialogue from the recent trailer of ‘Radhe Shyam’. Prabhas plays a famous palmist in the movie, who predicts the future accurately.

A media person questioned Prabhas, “There is a dialogue in the movie, which says your prediction about love is not so accurate. What about your prediction in real life?”

Prabhas, who gave a witty reply, said, “My love predictions have always been wrong. That is why I am not yet married.”

This funny answer from the ‘Baahubali’ actor has drawn much attention, making everyone admire Prabhas’ wit.

‘Radhe Shyam’ on the other hand, is inching towards its worldwide release soon, and hence the makers had organized a trailer launch event in Mumbai, kickstarting the promotions.

Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ to release on Sep 30

The first part of director Mani Ratnam’s much-awaited historical extravaganza ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is to hit screens on September 30 this year, its makers Lyca Productions announced on Wednesday.

The production house, while wishing its chairman Allirajah Subaskaran on his birthday, tweeted, “Wishing our Chairman Allirajah Subaskaran a very happy birthday! The Golden Era comes to the big screens on Sept 30th!”

It also released the first look poster of the film along with the tweet.

The film is based on the classic Tamil novel ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ by eminent writer Kalki.

The brilliant story, that revolves around the early life of prince Arulmozhi Varman, who later on went on to be known as the great Raja Raja Chozhan, is one of a kind.

The film, dubbed by Mani Ratnam as his dream project, features a host of top stars including actors Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Jayaram, Parthiban, Lal, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Prabhu, and Prakash Raj. The project will be among the most expensive ever undertaken in the country.

The film has the best in business handling each of its departments. A.R. Rahman is scoring the music for this epic historical and cinematography is by Ravi Varman. National Award-winning art director Thotta Tharani is in charge of production design while Mani Ratnam’s trusted editor Sreekar Prasad is handling the editing.

‘Rudra’ title track takes audience to dark place

As Ajay Devgn gears for his digital debut with the psychological drama series ‘Rudra – The Edge of Darkness’, the makers of the series released its title track ‘Inaam’ singer and businesswoman Ananya Birla.

The track with Hindi lyrics, ominous tones, and noir-inspired soundscape, complements the storyline of the psychological drama and encompasses the essence of the show which is a Hindi remake of the Idris Elba-starrer British show ‘Luther’. The music video depicts the haunting past of the show’s titular character.

Sharing her thoughts on her OTT debut, Ananya Birla said, “I’ve been an avid fan of the British series ‘Luther’ and it was such an incredibly enjoyable experience to collaborate on the Indian adaptation ‘Rudra – The Edge of Darkness'”.

“In the title track ‘Inaam’, I have tried to embody the emotions and intensity of Rudra’s mind and I hope the viewers enjoy listening to the track. I am super happy with how the music video has come together. It goes seamlessly with the show and is everything that I had envisioned it to be”, she added.

The six-episode thriller series also stars Esha Deol, Raashii Khanna, Atul Kulkarni, Ashwini Kalsekar, Tarun Gahlot, Ashish Vidyarthi and Satyadeep Misra.

Directed by Rajesh Mapushkar and produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India, ‘Rudra – The Edge of Darkness will be available on Disney+ Hotstar from March 4 in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali.

Pooja Hegde thrilled with audience anticipation for ‘Radhe Shyam’

As the special curtain-raiser video from upcoming Prabhas-starrer ‘Radhe Shyam’ hit the airwaves on Wednesday, Pooja Hegde who plays the female lead in the film is elated with the buzz around the film.

The actress expressed her gratitude towards the audience and said that the special video is their way of showing appreciation to the audience.

Sharing her excitement Pooja says, “I am thrilled and blessed to have so many people root for the film. Controversy over Pawan-Rana’s confrontation scene in ‘Bheemla Nayak’

The Kummari and Shalivahana communities in Andhra Pradesh have been offended by a particular scene from ‘Bheemla Nayak’ in which Rana Daggubati and Pawan Kalyan have a face-off, followed by a high-octane action sequence.

Some people have lodged a complaint against the makers of ‘Bheemla Nayak’.

A fight scene from ‘Bheemla Nayak’ features Rana Daggubati and Pawan Kalyan locking horns. As Rana charges at Pawan Kalyan, he is seen smashing off a pot-wheel. As the communities whose traditional occupation is pottery are offended by this act in the movie, they seem to have raised their voice against it.

According to Purushotham, from Guntur, the corporation chairman of both the communities, the scene has affected their livelihood, and he hence demanded the scene be cut out of the movie.

“Pottery wheel is our livelihood and we worship it every day. We were deeply hurt by Rana kicking the wheel and it is a matter of pride for us. The scene should be removed immediately, we have serious objections,” added Purushotham.

Well, the makers of the movie are yet to respond on the same. Helmed by Sagar K Chandra, ‘Bheemla Nayak’ was released last Friday, received a great response from fans and audiences.

Suriya, fans offer joint prayer for safe return of stranded Indians in Ukraine

Actor Suriya on Wednesday offered a joint prayer along with his fans for the safe return of Indians stuck in Ukraine, which is currently battling an invasion by Russia.

Speaking after the launch of the trailer of his upcoming film, ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’, which is scheduled to hit screens on March 10, Suriya said, “Even as we celebrate this moment here, a lot of innocent people and children from India are in Ukraine. They all have to return home safely.

“They say that there are around 15,000 people more left there. Finding transportation there is a challenge. Our government is doing everything but when we watch pictures and video clips, our heart flutters.

“We have lost a dear brother yesterday. I have faith in joint prayers. Let us all pray together that without any loss of life, everybody must safely come back home,” the actor said and offered a joint prayer with his fans.

After the brief prayer, Suriya said,” I believe our prayers will facilitate their safe return to our homeland.”

Ranbir, Shraddha-starrer yet-untiled film to release in cinemas on March 8, 2023

Filmmaker Luv Ranjans yet-untitled next featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor to release on Holi next year. It will release in cinemas on March 8, 2023.

Initially, the film was supposed to release on 26th January 2023.

Chaitanya’s maiden series sparks curiosity among folks

Naga Chaitanya kick-started working for his maiden web series titled ‘Dootha’.

As he shares a monochrome picture from his sets, he hints at dialogue from the series, creating much anticipation among folks.

Chaitanya, who took to his Instagram to post the BTS (Between the shots) picture, wrote: “To a new start”, which makes his upcoming project official now.

The picture features Naga Chaitanya’s first day on the sets, as he is seen gearing up with his script. The picture is a beautiful monochrome that has Chay’s spectacles, his watch, and a pen, which might be a hint at the kind of role he is going to take up, for ‘Dootha’.

The monochrome pic shows WH Auden’s curious quote, typed on Naga Chaitanya’s script book.

“I and the public know. What all schoolchildren learn, Those to whom evil is done. Do evil in return- W.H. AUDEN,” the dialogue from the first episode of ‘Dootha’ reads.

Naga Chaitanya, who was last seen on the big screen in the film ‘Bangarraju’, will be next seen in Vikram Kumar’s much-hyped movie ‘Thank You.

The ‘Love Story’ actor collaborates with Vikram Kumar for his maiden OTT project, which has been titled ‘Dootha’, which means ‘The messenger’.
