Nithiin releases sneak peek of ‘Maestro’

Actor Nithiin released a sneak peek video of his upcoming Telugu film ‘Maestro’ on Monday.

In the video, which is over a minute-long and was released on YouTube, the actor is seen playing the piano but is agitated as he is unable to finish his tune.

The film, which is a Telugu remake of Bollywood film ‘Andhadhun’, is directed by Merlapaka Gandhi.

Mahati Swara Sagar has come up with the tunes for the film that has cinematography by J. Yuvaraj.

Actress Nabha Natesh is the female lead, while Tamannaah Bhatia will be seen in a negative role.

‘Maestro’ will have a direct digital release on Disney+ Hotstar on September 17.

Richa Chadha, Ronit Roy unwrap murder mystery ‘Candy’

The trailer of upcoming show ‘Candy’ has been launched. The story revolves around politics, ambition, murder and mystery. Featuring Richa Chadha and Ronit Roy, the show premieres on September 8.

Richa goes into detail and shares about her role of DSP Ratna in the show, as she said: “I have always loved to experiment with my character and roles. This is just another opportunity to play a distinct character of a cop with a vivid character sketch. It has been challenging to play the character of a tough and uncompromising policewoman. Get ready to witness how DSP Ratna from Rudrakund unwraps the sin.”

Set against a picturesque backdrop of a boarding school in the mountains, the show will unleash secrets and unwrap sins.

Ronit shares about the storyline and how his onscreen personality is different.

He comments, “It is a story that holds a great amount of mystery, fear, hope and suspense. I feel it’s an edge-of-the-seat kind of thriller. Thanks to our creative heads and director Ashish Shukla who have made every character nuanced and extremely engaging. This is the first time I’ve had the chance to play such a layered character. I’m really looking forward to this one. Stay tuned as the series will unwrap the sin”.

Disha Patani: Prabhudeva likes to improvise

Actress Disha Patani, who collaborated with Prabhudeva in the film ‘Radhe’, says the choreographer-filmmaker likes to improvise.

Reminiscing about working with Prabhudeva, Disha said: “When I was offered ‘Radhe’, I was really excited to work on the film. It’s been a learning experience, as with any project. Prabhu Sir likes to improvise while I am used to being prepared before going on the set.”

The 29-year-old actress, who is rumoured to be dating actor Tiger Shroff, talked about how ‘Radhe’ has some “catchy” numbers.

“I love dancing and the film has some really catchy songs like ‘Seeti Maar’ that I thoroughly enjoyed preparing for. I look forward to entertaining my fans with more films like this,” she added.

Superstar Salman Khan-starrer ‘Radhe’ is set to have its television premiere on September 5 on Zee Cinema.

Bigg Boss OTT: Connections gets candid in the house with Sunny Leone

Former US-Canadian porn star-turned-Indian film actress Sunny Leone has entered the ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ house.

In a candid conversation with host Karan Johar, Sunny spoke about her favourite contestant in the house, as she revealed Divya Agarwal as her favourite contestant as she has a “strong personality”.

She played fun games like ‘Coconut Task’, the contestants had to do some steamy dance moves to showcase their compatibility followed by another task where they picked one contestant who they accepted and the one they wanted to block! Interesting, isn’t it? She played Cupid for the housemates.

Sunny Leone recalled her own ‘Bigg Boss’ days and said: “Bigg Boss OTT’ is all about #StayConnected, so I am here to spread some more love! As the host of ‘Splitsvilla’, I know what real connections look like and there are contestants who have some amazing bonding in the house.”

Prabhas, Pooja’s new ‘Radhe Shyam’ poster unveiled on Janmashtami

A new poster featuring actors Prabhas and Pooja Hegde from their upcoming film ‘Radhe Shyam’ has been unveiled on the occasion of Janmashtami on Monday.

In the poster, Prabhas looks dapper in a suave tuxedo and Pooja is sporting a breathtaking ball gown. The actress is seen playing a piano while the actor is standing next to her and looking at her lovingly.

Director Radha Krishna Kumar said: “We have worked very hard and left no stone unturned in ensuring that we bring audiences a theatrical experience they won’t forget.”

He added: “‘Radhe Shyam’ comes to theatres on January 14, 2022 and we are so excited to present the poster of the film on a special day like Janmashtami.”

The multi-lingual love story is set in Europe in the 1970s and has been shot extensively in Italy, Georgia and Hyderabad.

The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series. It is produced by UV Creations, Bhushan Kumar, Vamsi and Pramod.

On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami as a beautiful tribute to Lord Krishna, the upcoming show ‘Haathi Ghoda Paalki Jai Kanhaiya Laal Ki’ has launched a promo with a song sung by Kailash Kher. It will showcase Lord Krishna’s childhood.

Kailash Kher opens up about his association with the upcoming new show ‘Haathi Ghoda Paalki Jai Kanhaiya Laal Ki’. He revealed: “Lord Krishna has been an inevitable part of my life. My parents used to say that during my childhood, I used to do pranks just the way ‘Kanha Ji’ used to do. Naga Chaitanya unveils Nagarjuna’s first look from ‘Bangaraju’

The first look of actor Nagarjuna from his upcoming film ‘Bangaraju’ was unveiled on Sunday. The film brings him back onscreen with nephew Naga Chaitanya.

The film, which is a sequel to ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ went on floors recently here.

Nagarjuna looks dapper as he sports black sunglasses, and is dressed in a white shirt and Panche Kattu.

Chaitanya took to Twitter to release the poster and wish Nagarjuna.

Divya Agarwal: Not afraid of Karan Johar ‘evicting’ me from ‘Bigg Boss OTT’

‘Bigg Boss OTT’ contestant Divya Agarwal recently opened up about the remarks made by Karan Johar against her.

While speaking to Akshara Singh, she said: “I won’t change myself because of Karan’s criticism.”

She spoke about his (Karan’s) opinion about her and said that he doesn’t have the right to talk so nastily about her, especially when he doesn’t know her.

The actor has been in the news ever since the show began.

Whether it’s her fights with co-contestants Shamita Shetty and Pratik Sehajpal or the host Karan Johar himself, she has been grabbing headlines for one reason or another.

Divya claimed that KJo said a few things about her which were not true, and he doesn’t have the right to just say anything and everything about her.

Times are changing, hope filmmakers take note: Rakul Preet

Actress Rakul Preet Singh is gearing up for the release of her upcoming Telugu film ‘Konda Polam’ alongside Panja Vaisshnav Tej.

The actress, who has worked with both senior and young actors, feels that the stereotypes of onscreen pairings are broken now.

Rakul, who has worked with senior actors like Ravi Teja and Mahesh Babu, has also featured alongside younger stars like Sundeep Kishan.

“I think the industry has completely changed today. Gone are the days when people used to think that if you work with senior actors, you can’t work with junior actors, and vice versa. I think it’s way past that… Now it’s about the roles, it’s about how you look and how you carry those,” Rakul tells IANS.

“Times have changed now. Films are changing and evolving and I really hope that the filmmakers see that and more opportunities and scripts come like that,” she adds.

Rakul plays the role of a shephard girl in ‘Konda Polam’ and her simple, village girl look has received positive response from her fans.

“I always believe that you exude your vibe and I think if you are happy within, you look happy outside. If you are happy doing what you do, it will always reflect on screen,” she says.

The young actress, whose last Bollywood movie was ‘Sardar Ka Grandson’, believes in taking care of one-self.

“I just feel that the body that you live in is something that you need to take care of. From what I eat to how well I maintain my body or how young I feel in my head. Everything else is just a byproduct. I am glad that people like the pairing and I hope I keep getting more opportunities like that,” she says.

Salman shares pic with ‘bhatija’ Nirvan from ‘Tiger 3’ set

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan shared a picture with his nephew Nirvan Khan from Russia where he is shooting the upcoming spy thriller ‘Tiger 3’.

Salman posted the picture on Instagram. In the picture Salman and Nirvan, who is the son of actor-producer Sohail Khan, are seen sauntering on the streets of Russia.

The 55-year-old star looks dapper in ripped blue jeans paired with a grey T-shirt, chequered jacket and a baseball cap.

Nirvan is sporting olive green cargo pants paired with a black leather jacket and a sweatshirt. To complete the look, he is seen wearing glasses.

‘Tiger 3’ is the third part of the spy thriller franchise. The first instalment ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ directed by Kabir Khan released in 2012. The second film ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ released in 2017 and was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
