Sharwanand, Rashmika-starrer ‘Aadavaallu Meeku Johaarlu’ to release on Feb 25

Director Tirumala Kishore’s upcoming Telugu film, ‘Aadavaallu Meeku Johaarlu’, featuring actors Sharwanand and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead, will hit screens on February 25.

Sources close to the unit of the film say that the shooting of the wholesome family entertainer, being produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri’s Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, has been wrapped up and that only a song remains to be shot.

The filming of this song will begin soon, sources said adding that the film will be women-centric.

‘Aadavaallu Meeku Johaarlu’ marks Sharwanand’s first collaboration with Rashmika Mandanna and Tirumala Kishore.

Apart from Rashmika and Sharwanand, who plays a guy next door kind of role in the film, the film will also feature Khushbu, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Urvashi in important roles in the film.

Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for the film, which will have visuals by cinematographer Sujith Sarang. National award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad is in charge of editing.

Couturier and actress Masaba Gupta, who was last seen on the web show ‘Masaba Masaba’, has launched her own YouTube channel where she says she will share insightful and informative videos.

The channel aims to deliver knowledge on matters relating to fashion, fitness, beauty, travel, and wellness.

Speaking on the occasion of the YouTube channel’s launch, Masaba said: “I want to use social media channels as a tool to inspire subscribers with holistic, insightful, and informative videos.”

Her channel will see the star designer curating short- and long-format videos for her YouTube subscribers. In addition, she will also explore the YouTube shorts sections for quick consumption.

“I have always been passionate about fashion, fitness, beauty, travel, and wellness and I’m happy that I can enhance lives with my passion,” Masaba concluded.

The makers of Balakrishna’s talk show ‘Unstoppable – With NBK’ are coming up with a special episode, which is to be aired this Friday.

Sharing an update of the same, the team shared a poster of Balakrishna and wrote, “Conversations, inspirations and a lot of smiles as we revisit the best of #Unstoppable. Enter the weekend with a special episode of #UnstoppableWithNBK. Premieres today at 8 PM.”

As mentioned by the team, the special episode of ‘Unstoppable’ will have a special treat, as the editors have captured the best moments from all the episodes of the season.

Intended to revisit those special moments, the team is all set to air the special episode on Friday, at 8 p.m.

‘Unstoppable- With NBK’ had Nandamuri Balakrishna’s debut in the OTT space, as it also marks his first time hosting a celebrity talk show. The show had several renowned actors and technicians of Tollywood, chat with Balakrishna, as he was seen showing off his perky side.

Allu Arjun has taken to Instagram to share a shot of himself standing next to the AURA pool in the city of Dubai, a world-renowned tourist destination. The location offers a spectacular view of the city’s skyline, where the ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ actor is seen enjoying the picturesque.

It seems like Allu Arjun has planned the vacation to cool his heels before he begins the script reading sessions for ‘Pushpa: The Rule’, which is the sequel to the blockbuster pan-India movie ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.

Allu Arjun will soon join Sukumar and his team to discuss the upcoming schedules to start shooting for the next part of ‘Pushpa’.

Meanwhile, Sukumar has been busy working on the pre-production works related to the movie. It is reported that ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ will go on the floors in March.

As for ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, it has netted nearly Rs 100 crore in Hindi. Even after its Hindi version started streaming on Amazon Prime, the Sukumar directorial has collected good figures at the theaters, thereby proving that the film is a real success.

Taapsee reveals how she was looped in for ‘Looop Lapeta’ on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’

Bollywood actors Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin are gearing up for the upcoming film ‘Looop Lapeta’. The actress on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ revealed how she was roped in for the movie.

She shared: “I went to say no to the film, thinking that “I’ve done a similar film in the South, so I’ll maybe not do a film which has a similar concept in Hindi. Then he (Director Aakash Bhatia) narrated the film to me so well that he literally looped me in, and I said “yes” right there and then!”

In the movie, Tapsee plays the role of Savi and Tahir Raj Bhasin plays a character called Satya.

‘Looop Lapeta’ is the directorial debut of ad filmmaker Aakash Bhatia and is an adaptation of the German experimental thriller ‘Run Lola Run’, which has gained a cult status over the years.

The movie is set to stream on Netflix from February 4.

The ‘Bhala Thandanana’ teaser features Sree Vishnu in a boy-next-door avatar, while he showcases his other side of a revolutionary young man who goes against a corrupt political leader.

Directed by Chaitanya Dantuluri, the teaser gives a glimpse into the interesting political thriller that is up for release in the coming days.

As it seems to be a story that revolves around hawala scams, it is expected to be a good thriller. The BGM by Maestro Manisharma is so much in sync with the teaser’s narrative, while Sree Vishnu’s role as a crime reporter creates much anticipation.

Actress Catherine Tressa is also seen as a reporter, as she is introduced in the teaser of ‘Bhala Thandanana’. While ‘KGF’ fame Ramachandra Raju has played the villain in this movie, actors Srinivas Reddy, Adarsh Balakrishna, Satya, Posani Krishna Murali, and others have played key roles.

‘Bhala Thandanana’ is produced by Rajani Korrapati under Vaaraahi Chala Chitram. The movie is slated for a February 2022 release.

The makers of Prabhas-starrer ‘Salaar’ released a special birthday poster to wish the movie’s heroine Shruti Haasan, on the occasion of her birthday.

As the ‘Gabbar Singh’ actress celebrates her birthday on Friday, her upcoming movie- ‘Salaar’ hero Prabhas took to his social media platforms, to release a picture. “Wishing my entertaining heroine, the energy ball on set @shrutzhaasan, a very Happy Birthday! #Salaar,” wrote Prabhas, as he shares the poster.

Shruti Haasan plays a role named Aadya in Prashanth Neel’s upcoming directorial ‘Salaar’. Though the makers didn’t reveal much in the poster, Shruti Haasan is seen in a simple long-sleeved dress, as she gazes at the sky.

It is rumored that Shruti will play a political journalist’s role, while it is yet to be confirmed by the makers of ‘Salaar’.

Billed to be a high octane action entertainer, ‘Salaar’ is one of the high-budget upcoming movies to feature Prabhas.

Like the movie ‘KGF’ bagged him so much fame, Prashanth Neel is pinning hopes on ‘Salaar’ so as to keep up his good work.

Gal Gadot and Kenneth Branagh-starrer ‘Death on the Nile’ is all set to release in India on February 11.

The cast includes names such as five-time Academy Award nominee Kenneth Branagh, Armie Hammer, Gal Gadot, Margot Robbi, Tom Bateman, Ali Fazal, Letitia Wright, Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Rosie Leslie, among a host of other eminent actors.

The plot tells the tale of a perfect couple’s honeymoon on a cruise, however, things take an awry turn after a murder takes place on the ship. The movie is set in the picturesque locales of the Giza pyramid and sandy desert vistas.

It revolves around Poirot’s search for the deadly murderer as Gadot’s character shares with him that she’s not safe and “doesn’t trust” anyone who’s aboard the cruise.

Based on the 1937 novel by Agatha Christie, ‘Death on the Nile’ is a daring mystery-thriller about the emotional chaos and deadly consequences triggered by obsessive love.

The film which reunites the filmmaking team behind 2017’s global hit ‘Murder on the Orient Express, is written by Michael Green, adapted from Christie’s novel, and is produced by Ridley Scott, Kenneth Branagh, Judy Hofflund, and Kevin J. Walsh, with Mark Gordon, Simon Kinberg, Matthew Jenkins, James Prichard and Mathew Prichard serving as executive producers.

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor’s lineup for 2022 looks quite diverse and interesting. He will not only be seen showcasing his muscles in the entertainer ‘Ek Villain 2’ but will also flaunt his acting mettle in ‘Kuttey’ and ‘The Ladykiller’.

The 36-year-old actor is happy that he is in a position to explore both spectrums of Hindi films.

He said: “The fact that I can now, on one hand, have hardcore films like ‘Ek Villain 2’ and, on the other, also have projected like ‘The Ladykiller’ and ‘Kuttey’ means that filmmakers and producers believe that I can straddle both spectrums of films today.

“This is what I’m cherishing the most because, for the longest time, I wanted to explore the diverse spectrum of genres and finally I’m getting the opportunity to do so.”

Arjun reveals that he wanted to prove to filmmakers that he can deliver a solid performance if given an opportunity and it came in the form of ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Farrar.

He said: “I think what has bolstered the confidence of master storytellers is my performance in ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ because I went out of my comfort zone and delivered. I wanted to prove to everyone that people can punt on me to do off-center entertainers.

Arjun added: “I will forever be indebted to this project for opening new doors for me and helping me find projects in which I can try and showcase my journey and progress as an actor.
