On his first wedding anniversary on Monday, actor Varun Dhawan treated his fans with a string of unseen pictures from his D-Day celebrations with his wife Natasha Dalal.

Varun shared a slew of pictures on Instagram from the ceremony where the couple exchanged garlands.

The ‘Badlapur’ actor captioned the image: “1”.

He then shared a few more pictures with his lady love Natasha and wrote: “To infinity and beyond – buzz lightyear.”

On the work front, Varun will next be seen in ‘Bhediya’ and ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’.

Anushka, Virat break silence as daughter Vamika’s pics go viral

Celebrity power couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have come out with a statement after their toddler daughter Vamika was photographed at a cricket stadium and the pictures going viral on social media.

Anushka said that she was caught off guard and did not know that the camera was on her and Vamika.

The actress-producer took to her Instagram, where she shared the statement, saying: “Hi guys! We realise that our daughter’s images were captured at the stadium yesterday and widely shared thereafter. We want to inform everyone that we were caught off guard and didn’t know that the camera was on us.

“Our stance and request on the matter stays the same. We would really appreciate it if Vamika’s images are not clicked/published for reasons we have explained earlier.”

Nani-starrer ‘Ante Sundaraniki’ shoot wrapped up

The unit of director Vivek Athreya’s rom-com entertainer ‘Ante Sundaraniki’, featuring Natural Star Nani in the lead, has completed shooting the film.

“It’s a wrap for the roller coaster movie of the year ‘Ante Sundaraniki’,” announced Nani, who also shared a small video from the last day of the sets on social media.

The first look of ‘Ante Sundaraniki’ was released on New Year and Nani surprised fans with his atypical and funny look.

Nani plays a character called Kasthuri Poorna Venkata Sesha Sai Pawana Rama Sundara Prasad in the film, which will also mark the debut of actress Nazriya Nazim Fahadh in Telugu.

Niketh Bommi is the director of photography while Raviteja Girijala is the editor of the film.

Apart from Nani and Nazriya Fahadh, the film also features Nadhiya, Harshavardhan, Rahul Ramakrishna, Suhas and others.

Keerthy Suresh’s ‘Good Luck Sakhi’ trailer unveiled

The makers of National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh’s rom-com entertainer, ‘Good luck Sakhi’, on Monday released the film’s theatrical trailer.

The woman-centric, sports film that has been directed by Nagesh Kukunooor, is scheduled to hit screens on January 28. Aadhi Pinisetty plays the male lead in the film, which will have Jagapathi Babu essaying a crucial role.

The trailer begins with Jagapathi Babu saying that he would be training shooters who will make the country proud. Keerthy Suresh is then shown as ‘Bad Luck’ Sakhi as everyone in her village believes she brings bad luck to them.

Aadhi recommends her name to Jagapathi Babu, despite the villagers opposing the move, saying that shooting is not meant for women. She initially fails, but then Jagapathi Babu motivates her.

The trailer looks impressive with inspiring content. ‘Good Luck Sakhi’ is a multi-lingual film made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Popular producer Dil Raju is presenting the film while Sudheer Chandra Padiri is producing it for Worth A Shot Motion Arts.

Rashmika Mandanna unveils teaser of Priyamani’s next film

Rashmika Mandanna, who was recently seen on the big screen essaying the role of Srivalli in the multi-lingual superhit, “Pushpa: The Rise”, unveiled the teaser of “Bhamakalapam” on Sunday.

The delicious home-cooked thriller, directed by Abhimanyu Tadimeti, will premiere on the Telugu OTT platform aha on February 11. Filmmaker Bharat Kamma, known for “Dear Comrade”, is the showrunner.

“It felt so funny the moment I saw the teaser,” Rasmika said. “There’s a lot of interesting ideas. It’s a sweet story but shot in a very funny, interesting way. I wish Priyamani garu, who’s playing the role of Anupama, loads of love.”

The teaser is set amid an old apartment, revolving around a homemaker, Anupama, who runs a YouTube cookery channel and is also notorious for being a gossip and poking her nose into the matters of other families. She even says it’s great fun to know what’s going on in other people’s lives.

In the middle of a rainy night, the focus shifts to a cold-blooded murder in the apartment. There’s a lot of mystery surrounding the crime scene, with a few characters expressing their worry about something. From goons to guns and chases, it’s apparent that an anxious Anupama is in some trouble and is a key link to the murder.

Composer Justin Prabhakaran (known for scoring the music of “Radhe Shyam” and “Dear Comrade”) has done it again; Deepak Kumar has cranked the camera and Viplav is in charge of the edits.

With the Guru Randhawa music video ‘Main Chala’, starring Salman Khan, now streaming after its release on Saturday, its director of choreography Shabina Khan says the Bollywood superstar helped her create magic on screen.

Shabina Khan said ‘Main Chala’, being a slow romantic number, grows on you, but for a choreographer, it is very difficult to execute. “But when you have an artiste such as Salman sir, your job becomes a little easier,” she said.

Commenting on what Salman Khan brings to the table, Shabina said “he adds his own style to every song”.

She added: “Whenever I am working with Salman sir, I make sure that I present him with a couple of options and take his advice on what steps he thinks will look the best, making it a collaborative effort.”

Lata Mangeshkar shows ‘signs of improvement’, remains in ICU

The health of legendary singer Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar was showing “signs of improvement” on Saturday and she continues to remain under treatment in the ICU of a leading private hospital, said a close family friend.

“Her condition is improving compared with before and she is under the care of the amazing team of medicos headed by Dr. P. Samdani,” Anusha Srinivasan Iyer told with interviewer.

She said all are praying and eagerly looking forward to Lata Didi’s speedy recovery and returning home soon.

Mangeshkar, 92, was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital near her home in south Mumbai with Covid-19 and related health issues.

Cricketer Hanuma Vihari congratulates Nani’s ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ team

After Megastar Chiranjeevi, cricketer Hanuma Vihari has congratulated the entire team of director Rahul Sankrityan’s ‘Shyam Singha Roy’, featuring actors Nani and Sai Pallavi in the lead, even as the makers of the movie chose to release a deleted scene on Saturday.

Taking to Twitter, Vihari said, “Late night show!!” and then added: “Very intriguing movie. Congratulations to the whole team of ‘Shyam Singha Roy’.”

The cricketer’s tweet is bound to delight the team even further as congratulatory messages are continuing to pour in for the team, ever since the film started streaming on Netflix on Friday.

Naga Shaurya’s upcoming romantic comedy titled ‘Krishna Vrinda Vihari’

Director Anish R. Krishna’s upcoming romantic comedy, featuring actor Naga Shaurya in the lead, has been titled ‘Krishna Vrinda Vihari’.

The makers of the film released the title and the first look on the occasion of the actor’s birthday on Saturday.

Produced by Ira Creations, the film has music by Mahati Swara Sagar and cinematography by Sai Sriram.

Krishna and Vrinda are the character names of the lead pair in the film. In the first look poster, Naga Shaurya can be seen with a ‘niluvu bottu’ (vertical tilak) and ‘gandham’ (sandalwood paste). He can be seen sprinkling water with a betel leaf, which is usually done as part of Hindu rituals.

Unlike his roles in previous films, Naga Shaurya will be seen playing a funny character in this one.

Tipped to be a family entertainer, the shoot of ‘Krishna Vrinda Vihari’ is almost done, except for a song.
