Can Karan Johar get the RRR Hindi rights ?

The fabulous Mega-Nandamuri multi-starer RRR is ringing bells among the top makers of Indian Film Industry for its stunning combination and visionary maker. Such a project is now getting amazing competition to acquire Hindi distribution rights.

Baahubali series ended up doing a mammoth 2000 crores of business due to the fact that the star maker Karan Johar distributed it across North India. Karan happened to know about the project RRR and he is showing interest to distribute this flick in Hindi just like the Baahubali to gain huge profits. To Karan’s surprise, this time the entertainment giant Reliance Entertainments is looking forward to bagging the rights of RRR and they even offered mind-boggling price to the producer DVV Danayya.

Now the ball is in the court of Rajamouli whether to give away the rights to his good friend Karan Johar or gain more profits by selling the rights to the Reliance Entertainments. The project is currently in the second big schedule and the two heroes will work in parallel sets. The shooting will be concluded in next year’s January by giving a good 6 months for the post-production works. June 26 is the D-Day for this 400 plus crores budgeted periodic fiction drama.

The Youth Icon Vijay Devarakonda is coming up with Dear Comrade this Summer. The teaser which got released the other day had already sunk into the fans. But the so called film buffs point out at VD’s characterization in particular. The teaser showcased VD in yet another intense student leader who is completely indulged in college politics and fist fights. This rebel attitude is followed by a romantic smooch and the pair of geetha govindam appeared full hot yet again.

If we watch the teaser twice, one gets a feel that the makers are indeed continuing the trend of Arjun Reddy and more or less Vijay carried out his swag same like in his cult flick. Despite the craze she has got on the social media, the flick ended as a disappointment for her fans. More than the film, this young beauty got a reputation of having ego problems and bad attitude by her makers and co-actors. As this humiliation is not enough, her second flick Sridevi Bungalow’s trailer landed her in a huge soup. Touted to be a movie based on demised top actress Sridevi, the glimpses of trailer proved that the scenes are exact incidents those took place when Sridevi died in a hotel room in Dubai.

The upcoming Summer biggie of Superstar Mahesh Babu Maharshi is in the final leg of its production. A source close to this unit reveals the current status of this flick.

Mahesh Babu has teamed up with the classy director Vamsi Paidipally for a classy family entertainer titled Maharshi. The flick will be a life journey of a young successful entrepreneur who arrives in India in search of life. The remaining story revolves around how Maharshi met his beautiful friend Naresh who changes his life and shows new dimensions. The regular shoot has been concluded and just a couple of songs in erected sets along with some patchwork is remaining. Prince has been to South Africa to shoot a special advertisement for Thumbs Up soft drink. He will be back in Hyderabad in a week and conclude the entire shoot by this month’s end. The makers are planning to release this flick on 9th of May where there are plenty of holidays and no competition from other flicks.

Maharshi is bankrolled by Dil Raju and Aswini Dutt. rockstar DSP has scored the music and Pooja Hegde is the female lead. Allari Naresh is portraying a very important role in this flick besides hero Mahesh. Makers are planning to release the teaser for Telugu New year’s eve.

Now that the RRR’s main plot has been revealed, all are excited to see Charan as Manyam Tiger Alluri Sitarama Raju and Taarak as Komaram Bheem. One of the journos asked Rajamouli if he thought of considering Superstar Mahesh Babu for the role of Rama Raju as his father Krishna already did a Cinema in the past. Cool Rajamouli laughed and explained the reason for not casting Mahesh as Rama Raju in the first place. According to this visionary maker, it happened that once Jakkanna graced Mahesh’s film event, his fans asked for a movie in their combination. When Rajamouli asked if they want a flick in the lines of Alluri Sitarama Raju there was silence in the crowd but when this Baahubali maker asked if they want a movie like James Bond, then the entire crowd just shouted a big yes. So Rajamouli declared that the so-called Mahesh fans don’t want to see their hero as Sitarama Raju then why trying something against the fans’ will.

However, Rajamouli once again claimed that he wrote the story keeping Ram Charan and Taarak in mind and if at all any of these heroes rejected this script, then he would better stop this project than bringing in other heroes. That is Jakkanna for you guys!

Since yesterday, a poster of Prabhas with a stunning fighter outfit and arms is making rounds in the internet. It may look stunning but for most of the netizens, this poster is a direct copy of Hollywood star Tom Cruise’s pose from the flick Oblivion movie. So some over enthusiasts across India are now trolling Prabhas and the makers of Saaho as copy cats for making this poster. This is not the first time Saaho got these trolls as the same makers released a copy pose of a Hollywood flick Blade Runner. After some detailed research, it came to know that the poster is indeed a fake one and it was made to be one of Prabhas’s hardcore fans. By the time this news went out, the damage has already been done.

Saaho makers should be extra careful when dealing with such promotional posters. The regular shoot of this flick is in fast pace to meet the release date. Directed by Sujeeth, this movie is bankrolled by UV Creations with a huge budget. Shraddha Kapoor is the female lead and Neil Nithin is the main antagonist in this action thriller.

After teasing the Press and movie lovers in the name of RRR press meet, the visionary maker SS Rajamouli finally arranged a huge media gathering regarding the Mega-Nandamuri multi starrer. Crucial points of this most hyped press meet as follows:

The captain of the ship RRR took the lead by commencing the interaction with the Press and declared that this flick will be made in PAN India level. Heaping praises on his heroes Charan and NTR Jr, Rajamouli expressed his happiness on associating with two of the finest actors of Tollywood and opined that they shall be well known across India with this flick. Claiming that the flick will have more special effects as the flick belongs to the Pre-Independence Era but assured that the graphics will not oppress the raw nature of the script. On this note, Rajamouli spilled beans on the theme plot by stating that the story appears like the amalgam of life histories of two Telugu freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. That means, this Jakkanna is quite interested to take a freedom fighter from each of the two Telugu States.

The 2018’s ending sensation KGF Chapter One became a massive hit across India and now the entire team is planning on its sequel chapter-2. For those who are waiting for the official confirmation, the makers of this project have launched the official shooting today.

Rocking Star Yash, the director Prashanth Neel and other chief actors and technicians have participated in this opening ceremony of chapter-2. All gathered at the Temple of Sri Kodandarama Swamy, Vijayanagar and offered prayers prior to the Muhurat Shot. Already the producers and the Art director scouted the locations and erected massive sets which resemble the Kolar Gold Fields in Karnataka. The success of the first part gave confidence to the team of KGF and now they are spending a bomb on chapter two to make it a gigantic success like Baahubali. All are hoping to make this flick bigger than part one and expecting to meet the sky-high expectations of the movie lovers.

KGF Chapter-2 will showcase how Yash ruled the KGF and became the most wanted criminal in the history of Indian Crimes. Yash is looking more dynamic and manly by putting up some weight to match the image of Rocky in the flick. This movie is expected to get released in the early days of 2020.

The star writer Vijayendra Prasad is known for his extraordinary gigantic stories. This time, he is coming up with a love story not for his son Rajamouli but for a young Telugu hero.

The hero is none other than the Akkineni precedent Naga Chaitanya. This lad who is working restlessly for the flick Venky Mama, a multi-starrer along with his uncle Victory Venkatesh has agreed to work under the director Merlapaka Gandhi of Venkatadri Express fame. For this flick, Gandhi approached Vijayendra Prasad to write a complete love story with a tinge of entertainment. The latter readily agreed to provide a story and this flick will be launched in the upcoming weeks. After Premam, Chai is selecting mostly family entertainers and he wanted Gandhi to have minimum entertainment even if it a love story. It came to know that this story will have enough romance for the youth and entertainment for the family audience. More details of this flick will be updated soon by the production house UV Creations which is bankrolling this project.

For now, this star writer is busy with his son’s current project RRR. And Chaitanya is counting down for the release of his upcoming family entertainer Majili. This flick is directed by Siva of Ninnu Kori fame and Chai’s better half Sam is playing the female lead role.

The director Kishore Tummala has teamed up with the young mega hero Sai Dharam Tej to be back in track after an average dud like Vunnaki Okate Zindagi. On the flip side, Sai who has been riding with a series of flops has put faith on a love entertainer scripted by Kishore. After getting a stunning and catchy title like Chitralahari, expectations galore on this flick. However, the teaser reflects a perfect ambiance for a soothing and musical love story. With Sukumar’s voice over in the background, the teaser is all about the introduction of lead characters. Sai is seen as a youngster who is eagerly waiting for a break in his life. Actresses Nivetha Pethuraj and Kalyani Priyadarshan are bubbly and added more glamour to the movie. All in all, Chitralahari seemed to be promising to movie lovers.
