Dasara, starring Nani and Keerthy Suresh, emerged as a significant success, becoming the biggest opener among medium-budget releases. While its opening and closing numbers rivaled those of films featuring star heroes, director Srikanth Odela has not committed to any future projects yet.
Recently, Nani confirmed collaborations for two upcoming films, including “Saripodhaa Sanivaaram,” following the release of “Hi Nanna.” Additionally, a glimpse of “Saripodhaa Sanivaaram” has been released, building anticipation among fans.
Amidst these developments, Nani and Srikanth Odela have confirmed their collaboration for a new film, rumored to be Dasara 2. This strategic move by Nani aims to keep audiences excited about his upcoming projects, which also include films with directors Sujeeth and Venu, the latter possibly titled “Yellamma.”
Despite Dasara’s global success, grossing over 100 crores worldwide, the film underperformed in Andhra Pradesh. Similarly, Nani recent release, “Hi Nanna,” received an average response but found success on Netflix. As fans await his next ventures, the performance of these upcoming films remains to be seen.
