Apple has released the first official trailer for a new comedy series titled Platonic, created by Nicholas Stoller. The show stars Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, Luke Macfarlane, Tre Hale, Carla Gallo, and Andrew Lopez.
Recounts the story of two former best friends, Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne, who reconcile after a long absence to address the issues that caused their split. Their deepening friendship begins to take over their lives, leading to hilarious chaos and upheaval. Rose, who is married with kids, finds herself reliving the college life filled with parties, drugs, and the freedom of being young once again, while Seth, who is on a downward spiral in his marriage, rekindles his zest for life, but cost.
The series is written by a team of talented writers, including Francesca Delbanco, Nicholas Stoller, Guy Endore-Kaiser, Andrew Gurland, Brittany Miller, Justin Nowell, and Ron Weiner.
