PM greets space scientists on successful launch of PSLV C52 mission

Indian space scientists have congratulated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday for the successful launch of the PSLV C52 mission yesterday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that on the successful launch of the PSLV C52 mission, Congratulations to our space scientists. EOS-04 satellite would be provided high-resolution images under all weather conditions, soil moisture, hydrology, agriculture, forestry, and plantations as well as flood mapping.

The Indian Space Research Organisation tweeted. “India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle PSLV-C52 has injected Earth Observation Satellite EOS-04, From the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, SHAR, on February 14, into an intended sun-synchronous polar orbit of 529 km altitude at 06:17 hours IST”.

Stating ISRO Tweet about satellite, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh and former Union Minister said, “Congrats to @isro for its great success of 2022 without unfailure of
the launch of 3 satellites from Sriharikota today! Meeting with the Parliamentary Standing Committee will be having the perfect setting”.

The satellite EOS-04 was realized at U R Rao Satellite Centre in Bengaluru. It is a Radar Imaging Satellite designed to provide high-quality images under all weather conditions for applications such as Forestry, Agriculture, Soil Moisture, Plantations, Hydrology, and Flood mapping. Balancing about 1710 kg, it produces 2280 watt power and has a mission life of 10 years,” ISRO said,” ISRO said.
