Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited the public to participate in a nationwide cleanliness campaign on October 1 at 10 a.m., emphasizing that maintaining a clean India is a collective duty. In a message shared on X, he stated, “On October 1 at 10 a.m., we unite for an important cleanliness drive. Achieving a Swachh Bharat (Clean India) is a responsibility we all share, and every contribution is valuable. Join us in this noble effort to create a cleaner future.”
This initiative will commence on the eve of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, paying homage to the Father of the Nation, who consistently stressed the significance of cleanliness throughout his lifetime.
