On the occasion of Independence Day, the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has released water from two motors. Subsequently, the Chief spoke at a public meeting in Jaggampetta. He assured to provide water to every single acre. Chandrababu naidu clarified taht through Purushottapatnam and Pattiseema projects directly 6 and indirectly 11 states are benifitted.

Babu said that they have spent nearly Rs 44,000 crore for the construction of the projects and this year another Rs 10,000 crore will be spent. Chandrababu said that everyone in the water resources department is struggling from the minister to the lowest level and farmers have also come forward to support the government.
