Versatile character artist Prakash Raj has been vocal about political issues ever since the brutal murder of Journalist Gauri Lankesh. He kept aiming Narendra Modi and BJP Hindutva agenda since few months. He now ends up facing consequences. The columns penned by Prakash Raj have been published by Udayavani daily, but from some time, for reasons known only to management, his columns got discontinued all of a sudden.
Prakash Raj shot back at the forces who are behind this act. He said, ‘Surgical Strike. My popular column in Kannada has been suddenly stopped. No one informed too. Dear Invisible hands. Do you think we can’t see you…? Just asking’
Prakash, however, felt it is a political vendetta. He was discussing politics and current topics in the column for a long time now. He is also a National Award Winning Actor.
While reacting to all this talk, Shiva Subramanya who took charge as Udayavani editor denied being influenced by any political party nor his management. He alleged that it is just an attempt to give an opportunity to new writers and that’s a routine exercise in any newspaper.
