Gigantic Sets Constructed for Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s Film ‘Devil’:
Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, known for his penchant for unique scripts since the inception of his career, is gearing up to unveil another intriguing film titled “Devil,” with the subtitle “The British Secret Agent.” The titles and posters released up to this point have given viewers a glimpse into the captivating character he portrays. Set against the backdrop of the 1940s, this period film is being produced by Abhishek Nama.
What sets “Devil” apart is the remarkable effort put into its production, featuring 80 meticulously crafted sets. What’s even more fascinating is that a staggering 90 percent of the film has been shot within these meticulously designed sets. Erecting these sets was a colossal undertaking spanning over a year and a half.
The film’s art director, Gandhi, emphasized the immense challenge of recreating the ambiance of a period drama, necessitating a wide range of materials and props, including set decorations sourced Utilizing materials and props sourced from a variety of places, including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kolkata, Kerala, and Rajasthan.
The realization of this ambitious project owes much to the support of producer Abhishek Nama. The film’s creative aspects are in capable hands, with Srikanth Vissa handling the story, screenplay, and dialogues, while Soundar Rajan S is the cinematographer. Samyuktha Menon takes on the role of the female lead actress in “Devil.” The film is presented by Devansh Nama, with the music composed by Harshavardhan Rameshawar. “Devil” is all set to hit theaters on November 24th.
