The Beauty Of Democracy At Parliament

Once again the same scenes repeat in the ‘temple of democracy’ aka Parliament. After being adjourned in the morning, the Lok Sabha resumed at 12:00 noon. With 9 minutes into the session, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan took the easy way, the proven way, and the only way to save BJP; adjournment of the hose.
The AIADMK party can be held responsible for the drama to continue. It is an open fact that AIADMK is having the BJP backup. To create more drama in the house, an attempt to save the BJP from facing the no-confidence motion, AIADMK is holding on the Cauvery Water issue.
With Election Commission of India giving the green signal for the establishment of ‘Cauvery Management Board (CMB) ’, the AIADMK MPs have further intensified their protests in the parliament. From insider sources, it is learned that the Centre will stall the process of establishing the CMB until the indefinite adjournment of Lok Sabha. It is a pity that a regional party like AIADMK, having 37 out of 545 MPs (or 6.78%) in the Lok Sabha is dictating its fate. The line, ‘That’s the beauty of Democracy’ aptly suits in this context.
