Paid users can now upload films on X (Twitter) that are up to 2 hours long in 1080p and 3 hours long in 720p.
Twitter Premium subscribers can now post longer videos, with the ability to upload up to two hours of content in 1080p quality or three hours in 720p quality. The media studio, accessible at studio.x.com, is now open to all X Premium subscribers.
Additionally, paid users can download videos from their timeline to their camera roll and can choose to enable or disable the download option for videos they post. Premium X users will also enjoy features like AirPlay support for streaming videos to their TV, automatic captioning for popular videos, picture-in-picture playback for multitasking, video playback controls (including playback speed adjustment and fast forward/backward by double-tapping), improved mobile live broadcasting quality, an immersive video player on Android and iOS, and more.
Elon Musk has also announced that news organizations can participate in X’s advertising revenue share program, offering them a chance to earn a share of advertising revenue. This comes as part of Musk’s efforts to engage journalists and creators on the platform by providing new ways for them to generate income, such as by publishing directly on X and receiving a higher income, while changing how headlines and text from news articles are displayed on the platform.
