The much-awaited Indian 3 update is finally here! The sequel has faced numerous hurdles, from budget overruns to unexpected delays. Initially planned as a single film with a ₹250 crore budget, the project was split into Indian 2 and Indian 3 after the team filmed an extensive 5.5-hour-long footage. However, Indian 2 failed to make an impact at the box office, leading to uncertainty around the third installment.

With Indian 3 already 80% complete, the makers are now focused on finishing the remaining shoot with minimal costs. Some planned elements, including a song, have been scrapped to control expenses. Despite past setbacks, there’s renewed hope as the film’s trailer and songs have received positive feedback.

Both Kamal Haasan and director Shankar are now free from other commitments, and the film is expected to resume production soon. If all goes well, Indian 3 could hit theaters in the second half of this year. Kamal Haasan has assured fans that this sequel will offer better storytelling than its predecessor, raising expectations for a grand comeback.
