YS Jagan Follows Obama Strategy

It looks like YSRCP Chief, YS Jagan has taken Barack Obama as his inspiration, in getting prepared for the 2019 AP Assembly elections. Though the statement seems blizzard, on careful analyzation we can draw some similarities between the former US President and YS Jagan. In 2012 US Presidential elections, Obama & his team came up with a brilliant strategy.

Initially, strategists divide the voters based on different factors into groups. Later, they start attracting group by group, and also the whole set of voters in general. Given the diversity of the Indian population, the same strategy is being implemented for a very long time. Prashanth Kishore, the chief strategist behind YS Jagan’s election campaign, has given the strategy a unique makeover.

After CM Chandrababu announced Kapu reservations, and Pawan Kalyan targeting YSRCP out rightly, YS Jagan realized that he cannot get closer to Kapu community. Post that, the political leader started ‘BC’ row in the state. During his prestigious Padayatra, Jagan spoke about BCS and their current problems. Nowhere he made any mention of the Kapu community.

After Jagan started to ignore Kapu community, slowly but steadily, the Kapu leader realized YSRCP isn’t safe anymore for them, and are waiting for a right opportunity. Understanding the situation, Jagan and Prashanth Kumar are now trying woo Kapu leaders, just like what Obama did in the 2012 US Presidential elections.
