Zoom app which is well-liked and used by the employees who are working from home right now. As zoom has become famous worldwide it came into the focus of hackers as well. CEO & Founder Eric Yuan said Zoom will introduce new features to resolve safety issues.
Zoom app is going to introduce new features as zoom users experienced a breach during video calls.
Starting from April 5 the app requires a password to enter calls via meeting ID. The video app will also change virtual waiting rooms to be on by default that will make hosts to manually admit attendees.
The CEO and Founder Eric S. Yuan wrote a blog post and said that Zoom will freeze new features for 90 days to resolve the safety issues. Hence, typing a password to enter calls seems to be one of those features to protect the privacy of the users.
