Laughter Doubles Down! “MAD Square” Announced as Sequel to Surprise Hit “MAD”
Sithara Entertainment is hoping to capture lightning in a bottle once more with “MAD Square,” the official sequel to their surprise hit comedy film “MAD.” This announcement follows the massive success of “Tillu Square,” the sequel to “DJ Tillu,” which defied expectations and soared at the box office.
“MAD,” starring Nithin and Sangeeth Shoban, became a sleeper hit, winning audiences over with its humor and catchy songs. Its strong performance on streaming platforms further fueled anticipation for a sequel. “MAD Square” reunites the original cast and crew, aiming to recapture the magic of the first film and replicate the box office success of “Tillu Square.”
With filming officially underway, fans of “MAD” are eagerly waiting to see if “MAD Square” can live up to the high expectations set by its predecessor.
From Surprise Hit to Sequel! “Premalu 2” Announced Officially
Move over big-budget epics, because a simple romantic comedy has stolen the hearts (and wallets) of audiences! “Premalu,” starring Naslen and Mamitha Baiju, became a surprise hit in Malayalam cinema, despite its modest budget. The film’s charm extended beyond language barriers, with the dubbed Telugu and Tamil versions finding success as well.
The massive popularity of “Premalu” has led to an unexpected announcement – a direct sequel titled “Premalu 2”! This news generated a buzz online, with some fans ecstatic and others questioning the need for a sequel in the typically non-serialized world of romantic comedies.
Director Girish A.D. returns to helm “Premalu 2,” carrying the weight of high expectations from audiences across languages. While the first film delivered lighthearted entertainment, “Premalu 2” promises to crank up the fun and energy even further.
Details about the plot remain under wraps, but with the original cast returning and a 2025 release date on the horizon, “Premalu 2” is shaping up to be a much-anticipated follow-up to a delightful surprise hit.

The rain began with thunder and lightning in the wee hours of Saturday, followed by a steady shower. By 9:00 am, significant rainfall was recorded across various areas, with Gachibowli, Chandrayangutta, Khairatabad, Asifnagar, and Nampally among the recipients. The showers brought relief to neighborhoods like Serilingampally, Saroornagar, Charminar, Uppal, Amberpet, Bandlaguda, and Malkajgiri.
